Wish I could give a “0 star” rating. Horrible decision to do business with them. I travel for work & have occasional assignments in the Houston area so a gym is a necessity for me.I recently joined ymca with the intentions of going as often as possible but things did not work out that way. I was only able to attend the gym one time over a two month period due to my work schedule.I called to cancel the membership 12 days before my payment was due but yet they could not accept my cancellation over the phone or email. I finally had a chance to go in person 9 days before the payment would be taken from my bank account yet the manager would NOT stop the payment from being taken out because it had to be 10 days prior to payment that they can cancel payments.I was told by the manager herself that she was fully capable of cancelling my payment but was choosing not to because she simply did not want to . It's a pool filled with chlorine but you still have to reserve? They are only open for 4 hrs on the weekend too. How are they still charging near full price for membership? I will stick with the alternative gym I found when they shut down and then refused to give updates on when they were opening for 6 months and continued to charge...

Everything was thought out from the reservation system, temperature checks, and the clean cards on each machine. All staff were wearing a mask, and at least 2 people cleaning machines.
