The Monogram Shop — Local services in Houston

On a positive note the store itself is lovely and full of wonderful gift items that can be monogrammed, but my personal experience as a person showing up with vintage items to monogram for a wedding-related gift, I found their work to be sloppy, their pricing disproportionate to the value and their customer service poor. My initial order was to embroider 5 antique handkerchiefs as bridesmaid gifts at a coat of $125. Even after leaving very detailed instructions with staff, 3 of the 5 were done incorrectly. They offered to redo these so I gave them 3 more vintage hankies. They missed the deadline for having the redo done then promised to call when they did finish. But they did not call nor did they answer a voicemail message I left for them necessitating another trip to the store just to see if the job was finished - thankfully they were done but I was abruptly told when I asked why they didn’t call me that they did not make calls (even though doing so was their idea). The good news is that I found a mom and pop tailor who did monogramming quickly at a lower cost and right the first time so the remainder of the items were...

Nice little store with lots of good gift ideas. I was interested in an embroidery job but the place does not have staff interested in getting a potential client. I waited while they figured out if they provide towels for embroidery and out of 4 women who where behind the counter none approached and said let me show you what we offer while we figure out prices or even asked if i was looking for something specifically. I could have easily looked through the embroidery book my self that was sitting next where stood but if they didn’t want my business I can take it else where. Lastly if the store was pretty full, if every person working was addressing someone This comment would be non existent.
