I walked in at opening this morning absolutely in crisis. I work full time from home, and since I'm not on my company's secure network, I have to use my phone for 2FA to log into all of my work systems. My charge port on my (admittedly ancient and beat up) Note 4 phone finally bit the dust last night and I was completely locked out of everything with a dead phone, with no ability to contact my I.T. department or my boss (with no phone) and no hope. I saw online they can repair charge ports so I headed there just as they opened.
Sean greeted me and shared the bad news that unfortunately they are unable to do the charge ports on Note 4's, but offered me another solution that worked just as well: an external charger and a spare battery. He was going to loan me a spare battery and meanwhile give me an emergency charge to log into everything and have enough juice to get me through til I could get somewhere they could help me, but then he found an external charger that worked for my battery. I bought that as well as the battery he was going to loan me, and then I was like well screw it I'll just buy this and charge one battery while I use the other and swap them out back and forth.
This is the second time this store has been there for me in the event of a proper electronics crisis, and I can't explain how thankful I am. It's a stellar group of truly helpful professionals! I am visiting the area from out of state and brought my elderly grandfather in with his 3D picture viewer that needed fixing. I wish I would have gotten the gentleman’s name who helped us to thank him by name (tattoos, glasses). We were treated with extreme respect and courtesy. My grandpa was thanked for his military service. At one point I asked for a chair for my grandpa and both gentlemen behind the counter were extremely kind and accommodating. The viewer was fixed quickly and at no charge. The level of kindness we were shown was truly impactful; you just don’t find that kind of exceptional customer service much anymore. Read moreI needed to replace a key (remote) on my somewhat old F150 and found a replacement option at batteries plus. The reviews were positive and the price was much better than a dealership. I ordered the key and it came quickly and then made arrangements to get it programmed. There were some glitches with staffing which required me to make more than one trip to the store to get it done. However, they went out of their way to make up for the inconvenience and programmed my new key efficiently. Sometimes things don't go perfectly at first......but as long as a business strives in the end to do what's right, they keep the customer satisfied. Thanks for providing the service you did.
