I waited more than two months for a package while one small order from two weeks later, came fairly on time. No refunds is a bit ridiculous when most customers don't even live in state. The Judy Blue brand they carry are of good quality but other brands are not. It's also frustrating to online shop because they are often out of SO many things. When I had an issue with an order it was difficult to get a response after the fact. I have to wash things before wearing as I'm sensitive to a lot of dyes and unnatural fibers. A top marked machine washable completely unraveled following being washed on the delicate cycle. Yet, their markdowns are excellent. You just have to watch what you purchase and advise using Route to secure purchases and using PayPal for payment so you can push for a refund if needed. Good Luck! I have received a response back that this is the walk in store and not online but IF they use the same name, ie ownership and are just entities under an umbrella business of Giddy Up Glamour, then there are problems with the running of a business. If one department handles shoes and another sweaters, it's still the same business. It also further points out that the issues lay in the management and running of the same. Customer service is clearly an issue. Before I ordered, photos I saw were clearly the same products. If they don't want these reviews here, I'd recommend a separate listing be started for the online store with a separate address. Then the store might be able to contact Google to have reviews moved over. I read the reviews posted here after I posted my review and the issues are quite similar. I like to see store successful when they have a broad range of sizes and are truly trying to service customers but at this point both the online and the walk in seem to have the same kind of issues. Their return policy is an obvious issue. If someone can prove to me they have nothing to do with each other and there are different tax ids, I...
Read moreI purchased a pair of jeans and used the size guide provided on their website. The jeans were too big so I contacted Giddy up Glamour customer service for an exchange. I was then informed I would have to return the jeans and receive store credit to place a new order, within 10 days, such is their EXCHANGE policy. When I went to ship the jeans back at the UPS store it was $30! And the price for USPS was $29! I was shocked and asked why, to which I was informed because it's in a rural area and there's a fuel charge on top of shipping. After sending the jeans on their way I reached out again to customer service where I explained my shock and asked if they would cover the shipping costs due to the fact that their fit advice/ size chart was incorrect. The response I recieved stated "Thanks for your email and order. I’m so sorry to hear that you were charged this much. Had we known before you completed the transaction we certainly could have offered other suggestions that would have been much more reasonable". None of that was mentioned in the instructions for exchange I was sent. I was told "Once the package arrived we’ll evaluate to be sure they are sized correctly". Once I saw the jeans had arrived back to GUG I contacted customer service again inquiring how to place a new order for the correct size. I did not receive a response for 3 days, and when I finally did there was no mention of them checking the size or refunding shipping. Then I saw that they were only refunding me $58.45 of the $70.40 i had originally spent and I had to pay an additional $18.45 to place the new order. That's an additional $48.49 that I paid for the same jeans in a different size under their "Exchange" process. I was shocked and very unhappy! This is just horrible...
Read moreI've spent a lot of money in this store. Purchased 2 dresses from there on a Friday for $90.00. The following Tuesday I wore one to work for the first time. After an hour of being at work (in an office) the entire back seam of the dress was torn and the dress was shredding. Called the store, aware of their exchange/return policy but wanted to see what could be done. The manager on duty that morning asked if I still had the tag and receipt and told me that I could come in that day with the dress and either do an exchange or in store credit. Get there after work and the manager on duty that evening never came out from the back of the store and they told me that there is nothing they could do because it had been worn and the tag was off... Opposite of what the manager said that morning. Then they tell me I can have it repaired. Only option or I was stuck with a $45 damaged dress. Was told it would be ready within a week. Its been over a week and they don't have it. Purchased a pair of wedges from there... 3rd time to wear them, again at work and one broke.. ankle strap just came right out of the seam. They clearly do not stand behind their merchandise and the customer service is awful! I will never spend another dime...
