Grand Buffet — Restaurant in Huntsville

If I could give zero stars I would. My daughter and I came to eat after visiting the Blue Lagoon. The food was extremely salty yet bland at the same time. Most of the dishes were filler dishes. The chicken in the dishes were so unbelievably overcooked. My daughter is 13 but the girl can eat like an adult, and she barely touched the food on her plate. I was so extremely disappointed. I gave it a fair shot. My first plate had green beans and mushrooms on it and those were edible. The second and third plate I took a bite of each thing and spit it out. I was so overwhelmingly upset at the quality I had the manager come visit our table. I told him in the most polite way that this was quite possibly the worst food I had ever eaten. He looked surprised and offended and immediately replied with “well we have served over 300 people today” To me, managers should listen and make things right. I wasn’t asking for a refund although I surely deserved it. At the end of the day listening to your customers could be the key in your business not closing due to poor quality and service. Serving hundreds of people doesn’t make the food good. Including us, he served 302+ people on Wednesday and we walked out of that buffet with a horrible experience to remember. Ending our conversation the manager said “I’ll be right back”, walked away from the table and didn’t come back. My daughter and I ultimately got up and left. The manager stopped us on the way out and said “can I do anything like get you a to go coke or something?” I told him no thanks, and left. Poor food, poor management, don’t waste your time or money. We will never step foot in this...

OMG this was by far the WORST chinese food I have ever had in my life. I am litterally trying to not throw up as I type. First went because so many reviews.. we paid I went to do the Mongolian bar as I love to do... The chicken looked milky... I smelled it omg yuck!!! So I didn't get that.. my favorite is seseme chicken and the other one that looks similar. It was all soggy soaking in very thin watery sauce.. it was chewy and omg so gross... Both of them... The chicken u usually out sweet and sour sauce on. Like fried chicken strips tasted sour . The egg drop soup tasted like dirty water no flavor I even put salt salt nothing ugh.. the garlic chicken .tasted bad.... It was hot...nothing else was... The cheese ragoon flavor was awesome but cold... The noodles and rice we're good with enough sounds sauce... Egg rolls chewy... Some BBQ chicken was good cold.. the green beans good... Now I wanted to leave hubby asked please we don't have time find something u can eat.. I did...noodles and rice lol ... He got up got some of the seseme chicken he made a noice and spit it out... He never ever ever ever does that. I have never seen him act like that over nasty food. He was ready to go.. we left hungry other than being grossed out... I'm nervous I'm going to get sick .we just left there this was...

Very good food, I have been going here for many many years. I missed the last few years though, until today I ate here and it was still very good food. My favorite is the diced chicken and shrimp (never stop making that!)...one day I am going to figure out how you do the chicken like that...it is so good I could eat that everyday. As most others have said here, typically everything is good from the soups to the noodles to the main dishes and the sushi. If it were a little closer to my house, I think I would eat here more often. When I lived in Huntsville I went there usually once a week. I like to cook Asian dishes at home with my wok, but I would go here just for the diced chicken and shrimp dish. When I go to Huntsville to a restaurant, this place is usually on the top of my list. My only complaint is that you are to far from my house.

Also, I have lived in many places. In Texas, this has been the best Asian buffet I have eaten at...and I have eaten at A LOT. There were some excellent ones in California too that may have been better and there was one in Pittsburgh that I still dream about. But this place is certainly the best I have had in...
