As a brand-new extended-stay hotel in an area, where all other hotels are 9+ years older than it this Home 2 Suites is EASILY the best hotel in Huntsville. They offer newly integrated state-of-the-art facilities, spacious suites, and certain amenities tailored to provide a home-away-from-home experience that my family just loved. They were so cool they even gave us access to their "Borrow Closet" where we were able to check out normal home appliances such as stovetops, air fryers, blenders, crockpots, rice cookers that they let us take to our rooms!| |They even had gaming shelves with games and puzzles tailored to all age groups that we were able to let our littles enjoy. ||Inside the rooms they had rolling workstations as well as stationary desks, pull out sofas, full sized refrigerators and dishwashers! I mean WOW! We literally used all glass dishes and utensils the entire stay, both in our rooms and in the breakfast area. ||Of course you know they had all the hotel classics like a fitness center, pool, coin operated laundry facility etc. - etc. that all hotels have but they were SUPER clean and they made even the basic things feel grand. PLUS they had freeze dried candy from a local vendor that my whole family had fun trying. ||We came down for thanksgiving and by the time we checked out they had even decorated the whole lobby like The Grinch! It made me appreciate the traditional side, like I was at home with my family. ||This hotel is seriously cool and Emliee at front desk is just the sweetest! We will DEFINITELY be staying here again! Read moreWorst experience ever, will never use Home 2 or Hilton. The receptionist who worked on April, 4 at 9 pm had zero empathy and was absolutely useless. Long story short my family experienced an absolute nightmare. The hotel was booked in January for this April date through Chase travel. Hotel let us check in through the app earlier on April, 04, however when my family with young kids got to the hotel at 9 pm, the receptionist could not find the reservation or check in. Then we figured out that Chase was not even aware that hotel cancelled reservation. I don’t care who is guilty in this chain, but Home 2 and this particular location showed zero empathy and most probably it is Home 2/Hilton fault. How they kept reservation since January and canceled it at 9 pm on the date of check in after we checked in the app? Who will pay for another overpriced hotel which we should find by driving around with two kids at midnight?! Total nonsense. Bad service or support from Home 2 and this location. Read moreWe were supposed to travel from Katy to Huntsville to meet family. My husband and I both began throwing up before we even left Katy. I called to see if we could be reimbursed or change reservation for a different day. I was told because I had checked in digitally I had to go through the app and they would call “the front desk” to get it handled. I used the app and requested a call because you can’t talk to anyone. I received a phone call back. The lady took my information, put me on hold, came back and said because I was already on the property and it was after 11 AM there was nothing that they could do. I am still in Katy no where near Huntsville. She transferred us to the front desk- mind you I started at the front desk. She said NO it was after 11 and they would not be able to rent the room out because it was after 11. Really? They can’t rent the room out because it is after 11. Come on I bet if someone came in at 7 tonight and needed a room, they would rent that room. I won’t be using this hotel again.
