Glorious historic, old theater in a sad state of disrepair. Definitely not open for business, nor will it be anytime soon u fortunately... This place needs some restoration RIGHT NOW before it has to be torn down! The obviously leaking roof IS causing CONSIDERABLE damage inside to all of the ornate plaster and details that make this place special. It's a shame to see it waste away, hopefully the city or someone can do something to preserve it and bring it back to its original glory

Wow if you have a good imagination you can see pass the dripping water coming from the ceiling and water damage and paint chipping or pealing away. You can image your self in the times such an importantf historical place so if you have a chance next year open house please go. Or learn more about it on YouTube. Beautiful old theatre but the owner is t doing anything and someone should take it into hands of someone with experience. The owner is letting the theatre become destroyed not doing anything to it. Save Chicagos history before the owners is negligent and letting the interior become destroyed. It’s clear he has...
