FSG Tattoo — Attraction in Imperial Beach

I visited last Saturday (2/1/2025) to get my second holes pierced on my ears. I don’t know the name of the “piercer” who did my ears but she was a young her lady who told me she worked at a school during week days. She should stick to teaching because she absolutely botched the piercing on my left ear. The swelling hadn’t gone down so I took off the back of the earring just to find out that the piercing was so crooked that the top of the earring was where the 2nd hole should be but the back of my earring was exiting at the bottom back of my ear where the hole is for my bottom piercings. It sounds insane so luckily I have pictures but this piercing was so crooked the piercing literally went downwards through the length of my earlobe. I went to a different shop to see if they could salvage my left ear and luckily they could if they re-pierced it (which they did and it’s now perfectly straight thanks to them). They said that they have never seen a mistake made like the one that your “piercer” made on me. I am truly baffled how she let me walk out of the shop last week knowing that she completely messed up. I’m sure she remembers exactly who I am because nobody forgets making a mistake as big as that one. Not only did I get scammed out of my money by making the mistake in coming here, I’m also left with random holes In the back of my ear from where the botched earring was exiting. I am genuinely scared for whoever has the misfortune of being pierced...

If I could give FSG 10 stars I would! My husband and I have been coming here for a few years and everyone is amazing but our favorite tattoo artist is Laura B. She is truly exceptional. My first large piece is absolutely gorgeous. I receive compliments from everyone who see it. It is exactly what I had envisioned except 10 times better. The colors are vivid and all lines perfectly placed. I’ve had it for over 4 years and people still ask if it’s fresh. My 19 yr. daughter’s first tattoo was also done by Laura and she’s currently working on some bigger pieces on my husband and I. I have referred a lot of my friends and family and they have all been very happy. The shop is nice and clean, everything is sanitary and new. I was very sad when they lost the boss he was very nice and welcoming. He always had a smile on his face. He will be missed. If you’re looking for you next tattoo from great artists look no more come to FSG I personally highly recommend this shop. My family and I will never go elsewhere for ink....

Of course this review is for Sierra. Got a bone frog done almost a year ago. I tell her that I don’t live in California anymore, so if I get a FREE touch up done it’ll be when I’m in town again on short notice. Of course she said, “Hey yeah no problem just call!” Well I gave her almost a week notice and she tells me she’s booked up for the next TWO months because her business is picking up. No let me try and squeeze you in or anything. We are talking a touch up on a basic tattoo, nothing that would take more than 30 mins. She says she needs more heads up, but if you’re already “booked” two months how much heads up do you want? I felt slighted because I knew Mike since 2002 and lived across the street from that shop and this is how old standing customers get treated?? Ok you have bookings, but you take care of your loyal customers and “friends” of Mike! You don’t put some guy who wants a 🌈 on his ankle before them. THAT is part of the culture of being a...
