Lilylu Flowers — Local services in Imperial Beach

My fiance and I have been separated by an ocean for a majority of our relationship, but he still made sure to send me flowers for birthdays and anniversaries, and he always did it through Lilylu. I've loved every arrangement I received, so once it was time for us to get married, deciding where to get our flowers was a no-brainer.

I called less than two weeks before our courthouse appointment only knowing that I wanted a small white and pink bouquet and a matching pocket square boutonniere. She asked a series of questions to get a better idea of what I wanted, gave me a brief description of what the design could include, and at the end asked if there was anything else I'd like to see. I mentioned that my dress had plum blossom motifs. Plum blossoms are neither in season nor are they really ever in bouquets, but I said I'd love if something similar could be included.

The entire call was quick and easy (which is a huge plus as a millennial who hates phone calls), the woman I spoke to was very sweet and patient with all my questions and requests, and the price was criminally affordable.

Once I received the bouquet I was absolutely in love and so happy I trusted them with the design because it was everything I could have hoped for! Obviously she couldn't get plum blossoms, but the flower chosen as substitute (which I can't remember the name of, but she did tell me before delivery) were perfect. My only regret is that we didn't end up getting married that day, but once we get around to rescheduling I'm definitely going...

This review is long overdue! The first arrangement I received from Lilylu Flowers was on my birthday. The arrangement was stunning! It was the perfect mix of blooms with an amazing hybrid lily that I'd never seen before. You can tell a lot of thought went into picking each flower. What was even more amazing was the owner, Annie, delivered the flowers herself to my son's soccer game, because it was where I would be spending my whole day. It is a moment I will never forget.

When my grandmother passed away last summer, Lilylu Flowers is the only shop that came to mind. Annie provided an incredible level of compassion during a very difficult time. She offered to meet with my mother in a setting that was most comfortable for her. She also reached out in the days before the consultation to check in and see how my mother was feeling, as she wanted to be mindful of how she presented the information. Annie’s thoughtful guidance helped us navigate the selection process with ease, and the final arrangements were beautiful.

I originally placed an order with a different floral shop for my mother-in-law's celebration of life ceremony but the day before I decided to look up the shop's reviews and was horrified.
