Deals Thrift Mart — Attraction in Independence

I stop in here about once every 3 months. Products are not rotated well. They had a 50% off sale going on which insinuates you'd like to sell some stuff. I found two dirty scratched PlayStation 2 games in the DVDs which were $1.95 would have been a dollar a piece. I told the guy when I went to the counter hey these were in the DVDs he said ask this lady over here she told me no they are 6.95 so they should be $3.50. these games are donations and they were filthy they're worth about a dollar or two but because you want to haggle for extra dollars I'm only going to spend the $1.60 I spent and I'm going to leave you a negative review and I'm not coming back. You literally don't know what you're talking about and your prices are way too high. Any Goodwill store the Goodwill outlets City Thrift or any Red Racks or frugals on 40 highway is better for your time...

This store has a ton of things. The store is very big and they still have to much stuff for the size of the store. You can see carts and boxes full of stuff that needs to be out out but there is already stuff just stacked on top of other stuff that you may want to but but you will never find it. The prices were decent. I was surprised by how high a few things were. If I can but the same thing brand new for $5.00 I am not going to pay $6.50 for it in used condition at a thrift store. I have seen the owner go out of her way to be rude to people. I have seen her be very pushy. BUT I HAVE ALSO SEEN HER GO OUT IF HER WAY TO HELP PEOPLE AND ALSO OFFER ITEMS AT A LOWER PRICE WHEN SIMEONE MAY NOT HAVE ENOUGH MONEY TO PAY FOR WHAT THEY WANT. I started coming here about 2 years ago. The upkeep on the store and the prices got worse and worse. To the point I stopped coming altogether. About 4 months ago I was driving by and decided, what the heck and stopped in. The place still looked a bit rough, but was better. I spent about an hour browsing and ended getting a few things.
