Arsenal Park — Attraction in Indianapolis

Well, I was only there to take advantage of the parking lot to check the fluids in my car to be honest. The park was nice and clean which I was surprised about because there was only 1 trash can for the whole park. I ended up taking my trash with me because I was being lazy and didn't want to walk so far to the trash can. Lots of people walking their dogs and enjoying that they could walk on the side walk while their dogs pottied in the grass. It was a dewy morning so they would have gotten their feet/shoes all wet. I love that they have redone the little skate park over there. It was 8 o clock in the morning and there were already people skate boarding. The old one was falling down and was looking rather raggedy with the dry rotted wood. The splash pad area looks nicely maintained even though it has been there for a few years. I'm not sure the rules or the times you are able to use it because from what I could see, no information was posted. I could be wrong... Also I love the fact that this park has a restroom. I didn't use it, but I can imagine how helpful...

Great park with lots of green space with a safe area surrounding it. There is plenty of grass area for miscellaneous activities like spike all, kickball, football, etc while also having a nice playground. There are several bathroom on site that have flushing toilets & sinks. Basketball court and skate park seem to be a little dated, but they do the trick. It's a nice park. The bathrooms available have fluahable toilets and running water for washing hands. Very clean. The park is large and the dogs love running around. It's on a quiet street. I don't have kids so I don't know how the playground was but there were a lot of kids there so I guess that's a good sign. It's really close to the...
