I'm not sure how to rate this: If you have teams of soccer players, and are willing and able to schedule a time to open and use the park, it might deserve a 5 Star rating. But otherwise, this park seems like it'd be close to useless, even to soccer players who might casually want to spend a few minutes playing around. I guess you can still go for a walk, maybe with your dog; but I don't know what else.

Really wonderful place to take kids- especially real little guys! Super fun splash pad, two excellent playgrounds with squishy ground, lots of space to let your little ones roam free, and a covered shelter area. We didn't check out the bathrooms, but nice to know they are also available. Great way to spend an afternoon for free!

Great soccer pitch, well maintained. It doesn’t flood in the rain. We play here several times per week for school and Tab rec league. It’s a great feature to the community and seems like it is used by a diverse range of folks, usually soccer or frisbee.

Its just a large open area with little there to attract would be patrons to make use of the area. There is a portion of the fields. that is fenced in and requires some sort of permit or permission to use it. However I have never seen it used for any soccer games whatsoever so to make sure my puppy didnt run off into traffic I slid her trough a space in the gate on the east side of the park. There is also a train caboose on site and a big rock that has a metal plate commemorating an event I cant remember atm. I guess the monon trail interconnects here as well as the I-70 / I-65 split at the southern end of the park; Accessible from 16th and Bellafontaine Streets for the front parking area and then a buch parking at the back with public restrooms I'm not sure are ever open but thelarger of two parking areas, East and Westsides boardered with condominium properties that get all huffy about a car parking too long near where they live and should probably move. And there you have it. A green but ever so boring soccer field in downtown...

This is a really clean and quiet park. Friendly moms having lunch with their kiddos. My son made many new friends today. Before I could leave to get lunch, Indy parks pulled up in there and gave all the kids lunches. It was honestly so sweet and the perfect timing. The playground was small enough to keep an eye on my boy without having to helicopter over him. Many things to climb on and over with a swing set shaded pavilion. There's also a leaking trail with beautiful flowers 🌺 10/10 recommend taking your kiddos here or your spouse for a walk. Also there is a bathroom with changing tables and the men's room at least was very clean. As I am a dad I cannot speak for the cleanliness of the...
