Its just a large open area with little there to attract would be patrons to make use of the area. There is a portion of the fields. that is fenced in and requires some sort of permit or permission to use it. However I have never seen it used for any soccer games whatsoever so to make sure my puppy didnt run off into traffic I slid her trough a space in the gate on the east side of the park. There is also a train caboose on site and a big rock that has a metal plate commemorating an event I cant remember atm. I guess the monon trail interconnects here as well as the I-70 / I-65 split at the southern end of the park; Accessible from 16th and Bellafontaine Streets for the front parking area and then a buch parking at the back with public restrooms I'm not sure are ever open but thelarger of two parking areas, East and Westsides boardered with condominium properties that get all huffy about a car parking too long near where they live and should probably move. And there you have it. A green but ever so boring soccer field in downtown...

Also there is a bathroom with changing tables and the men's room at least was very clean. As I am a dad I cannot speak for the cleanliness of the...

But otherwise, this park seems like it'd be close to useless, even to soccer players who might casually want to spend a few minutes playing around. I guess you can still go for a walk, maybe with your dog; but I don't...
