Game World — Attraction in Indianapolis

Worst video game store in the area. I was at the Bloomington location over an hour ago. Didn’t buy a game there because the rep said the south Indy location had the “complete edition” for the game I was looking at. So I didn’t buy the disc in Bloomington and came to to Indy. The 2 people working here were not helpful. The game was in the back but not able to be sold for 6 more days. I told them I just came from another location because they told me it was in stock.

I don’t fault the guy at the Bloomington store at all. If the game shows in the system then how is he supposed to know it can’t be sold for a week? I went to disc replay and got what I was looking for.

Take your business to GameStop or disc relay. Those places are actually trying to sell their games. If you want to know what they hold the games for a week before selling them call and ask. It’s crazy because a few people experienced what I did who were standing in line with me and told to come back in several days when the item could leave the back room.

I was ecstatic to see that Game World was opening up another location! I have previously visited their other two shops in the Bloomington area and couldn’t leave without buying something when I went. I had the opportunity to go to the new store yesterday. Similar to the other locations, the new store has everything you could possibly need! The prices were extremely comparable, if not better, to other game stores such as GameStop. I was helped out by a man by the name of Dylan. He was extremely kind, friendly, and congenial. He helped recommend some new games on the market and I was extremely happy with my purchase! I will always buy physical copies of games and never plan on going fully digital so I am very thankful there are still stores like this opening up. Absolutely love this store! I mainly come in to check out their Funko Pop selection, and it never disappoints. Everything is neatly displayed and organized by show/genre, which makes browsing super easy. On my last visit, I was thrilled to find Pikachu, Raichu, and Alolan Raichu—all lined up together and all ones I’d been searching for to complete my collection! Even better, they had a buy two, get one free deal on Funko Pops, so I walked out with an awesome bargain.

The staff is always friendly, welcoming, and ready to help. Plus, they even hand out a freezer treat when you make a purchase, which is such a fun touch!
