I will start with i have never given such a negative review in my life and I'm disappointed that I am now, but I can't let this go.
The lady with the dark hair with blue/green bun who rang us out made unneeded and quite rude comments to us about the quantity of food we ordered as if we weren't aware of what we were asking for. Her comment of "You know that feeds 4 people, right?" Was completely out of line. We are more than aware of how many people it feeds. Does staff ask this to everyone suddenly? Or is it just the customer who appear to be plus sized? Regardless, it is highly inappropriate and unprofessional. Don't get me wrong, I have worked in fast food for the first half of my working career and work grocery retail currently. I understand customers can be mean and nasty, but both my fiancé and I have been in these shoes and have always given the kindness and respect these employees deserve. There's just no need, and it was none of her or anyone else's business.
To add insult to injury, the cook who handed us our food said, "I hope I added enough fries for you guys". In all my years of coming to this location this is the first time I have ever had such passive aggressive and condescending service. It made my fiancé highly uncomfortable to the point we left to eat elsewhere when we have always enjoyed our food...
Read moreVery overpriced for portion sizes. Prices did not match what was on the website, I guess everything has raised in prices recently though. I haven't been in a few years,so I took a moment looking at the menu. There was not a line, I was not inconveniencing anyone so I took my time. When I went up to order the employee was very rude immediately so much that it shocked me. I was unaware I could add anything I wanted and she rolled her eyes at me and said "What ON the burger?!" Like gosh, realize not everyone has the ordering process memorized! Receipt said her name was Caitlin C but she also could have been signed into someone else's register. The girl had very short brown/black hair and was a bit bigger. I work fast food and I get having a rough shift, but please fix your attitude and have an open mind that some people need a moment! Funny part is I went with a friend and the first thing he said to me after ordering was how rude the lady was. Didn't even mention...
Read moreIt may taste a bit bland or average if you can't find a good combination of toppings but once you find one, it will probably be the best burger you've ever had. I've tried The Habit in Las Vegas and In 'N Out in the LA area and Five Guys is right there with them. Five Guys does their best to make a burger that looks like you made it at home on the grill and bought toppings from your local grocery store/farmer's market. It's messy, the toppings are overloaded, the bun is a bit smashed and the burger is thick and every every bite is fantastic. The fries are ridiculous, too. Never order more than a little fry unless you are trying to feed 3 people. It's not just the quantity of fries, either, they're arguably the best in the area when they're fresh. Shakes are great too, letting you add as many toppings as you want for no charge (salted caramel is amazing...
