Seems like a cool park! We came to German Park for their kind of early 2023 Oktoberfest the second weekend in September. Parking was $5 per person (not car). I hope this was just an event charge as it is a private park and I can't see anyone going there regularly and paying that amount. What I could see of it was very pretty; small hills, woods, and gravel paths throughout. There is the Edelweiss restaurant there, which I hear is pretty good. Soccer fields are a part of the amenities as well. I would like to go there again to get a better perception of the park outside of a...

This a complaint for anyone handicap in a wheelchair or person using a walker. This place is not handicap accessible. There is too much gravel where pavement should be. I understand gravel is cheaper but it was impossible for me to get around with my wheelchair in the gravel. The "ramps" were not level and I felt a few times like I was going to flip my wheelchair. Super nice volunteers working but that's not enough to get more handicap people to come to the park. This needs to be corrected before...

As usual Oktoberfest was a BLAST! I met a real life Gnome, drank too much beer, ate some potato pancakes, and bought a polka T-shirt! I wish there were more vendors there and a bit more to see and do but I'll be back next year!! Oh. For those who are wondering... Getting into the park was easy breezy, finding a spot to park was just as simple and leaving (which we ALL know is the MOST important part) was no problem at all. Now the beer lines are a whole...

We went to the October fest and they have a really nice layout and very friendly People. live music. German music to dance to and American music as well. Great food. A lot of people showed up and they have a family restaurant open Tuesday though Saturday.

German Park is the location of choice for the Annual FBI Steak Fry. The weather for this event was perfect and the steaks were cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. Was great reconnecting with people I worked with over my law enforcement career.
