Bret is a great piercer! Went in with my sister and young niece. Niece got her first ear piercings and he made sure SHE was ok and comfortable with getting them done. He also made sure to let us know beforehand if she changed her mind or freaked out he wouldn't do it. Which I think is very professional & all piercers should abide by this rule. Luckily she was ready and although nervous she did well thanks to imo having such a kind piercer who explained it all so well before and after. My sister got a single nose piercing and I got both nostrils done. All look great and was very happy with how well he explained after care and just the fact that he also made us feel welcome the whole time. This is my 2nd time being here. 1st was septum piercing which healed wonderfully. I know these will all heal amazing too. Please if you're thinking of getting a piercing come here! He knows what he's doing and will talk options over and explain it all PROPERLY. Don't risk going somewhere else or cheaping out and getting a 20 buck piercing it will be off center, get infected or worse. Go here he's got the experience that's obvious. Great place for kids 1st ear piercings too! He treats kids kindly and most importantly makes sure they understand and are ok with it too! For my first colored ink, I wanted a female tattoo artist. I didn't really have a reason... Just a feeling that a female hand would be best. I walked into Irish Ink in Greenwood and was floored by the beautiful art of Brooke Hume. I still need to go back for my touch ups, but I think I finally understand the concept of having one artist for all of your ink. My past tattoos have been done in all black, and I never used the same artist twice. Most of them are scarified from heavy handed artists. But Brooke really understood wanting my new ink to look organic (it's a blossoming lotus flower with an OM on a center petal), and she did an absolutely amazing job! My girlfriend even got her first tattoo from Brooke! Brooke and I have talked about future art I want to get, and with her skills as a painter and artist in general I'm practically chomping at the bit to get in the shop and under her skilled needle once again! I really cannot properly describe how amazing it makes me feel to have such a beautiful piece of art as a part of my flesh. Went in with 3 other people to get piercings, with no appointment. The guy that checked us in was super friendly and let us know it would be about a 30 minute wait. The vibe of the shop was really nice, you can tell they care about cleanliness and making people feel comfortable. Bret, I believe, was the gentleman who pierced us and I only have good things to say. He was so patient and kind! He did not make us feel rushed at all and explained the different prices of all the jewelry before taking us back to the piercing room. He wore a mask pretty much the whole time, sprayed everything down, wore several pairs of gloves, sterilized everything for several minutes before even starting. Really appreciated how clean and sanitary everything was. Looking at all the Polaroids on the wall was super fun while waiting for everyone to get done.
