Indiana State Fairgrounds Gate 12 — Attraction in Indianapolis

We attended the Christmas light show at the fairgrounds and thought it was one of the best we had ever seen. We waited in line about 1.5 hrs on a weekday. One recommendation would be to have a staff member patrolling the line in the event a person had car, child or medical issues. There wasn't anyone to notify after you got into the line after the first day of Christmas. Which would have resulted in a tremendous mess if an had occurred. We did have intermittent issues with our vehicle idling, but it resolved itself by the time we reached the 11th day of Christmas. Indianapolis State Fair 2021 had the best dinosaur display! My son loved it. The Lego exhibit was a blast as well. Definitely keepers for years to come! The grounds where very clean, everyone was friendly. So much to do and time flies by. We came when the gates opened and left at 2pm. Didn't feel like that much time went by so fast. But, time flies when your at the state fair. I enjoyed that the tractor shuddle was free this year. I would definitely recommend everyone come on $3 Thursday or a discount day. Better late than never, went and seen the Christmas Lights display on 12/29. This light show is synchronized to holiday themed music and takes about 25 minutes to drive through. 30 dollars a carload up to eight people per car then the price goes up. We enjoyed the show and would be a fantastic event to see for any little boys and girls. The last day is the 31 of December so you still have time.
