Indianapolis Motor Speedway Track Tours — Attraction in Indianapolis

Just out sight seeing & had no idea they did tours. They have several different types & prices ranges. You can buy tickets online or there. We took the shorter 30min- $15 bus tour. They have a few different ones that are determined on if the track is being used or not. Track was being used this day so the tour took us to the tall building where the start & finish is. Review for the "kiss the bricks" tour. Awesome experience even for a casual fan. You get to do a lap on the track in a small bus and have the opportunity to kiss the bricks yourself. The staff was kind and knowledgeable.

The museum is closed for a while, but this is a great option if visiting the area (tour schedule available online, and the gift shop is open). Even though it was pouring rain we did the track tour (leaves every 15 minutes) which includes a stop to give you an opportunity to KISS THE BRICK. The tour was AMZINGLY informative. Unfortunately the museum is CLOSED till Spring for renovations, but as we were snow birding our way to Florida, we would not have time to spend 1/2 day + at the brick yard.
