Sadly, after many pleasant experiences over the years, Maurice’s has lost me as a customer. I have spent thousands over the years at this store and have never had an experience like this.
I bought two pairs of jeans, spending over $100+ on them and when trying them on at home I hated the way they fit me. Not thinking about it, I threw away the receipt and tags since they had always looked up prior returns/exchanges in their system with my phone number. Well, they informed me that without the paper receipt and tags, they could not be returned. They refused to look my number up and said they had to have the physical receipt.
So every other time they just did it differently? Now I am stuck with these jeans that I won’t wear and have to go spend more money somewhere else to get some that fit the way I want. Because of this, I won’t be back. I would rather spend more on jeans elsewhere than somewhere that does stick to their policies and truly needs to work on...
Read moreWhen we first walked in you couldn't hear the employee greet us because of the loud music and heater but clearly it's not our responsibility on how she speaks. Then what ruined our entire experience was the misplacment of clearance items. I took multiple minutes to do calculations of my money to save as much money as possible. Then I had a sudden realization that my calculations were irrelevant when the clearance item was no longer clearanced because it was misplaced. So then my BOGO half off deal was flip flopped. Then the lady was ignorant to the fact that I had to mooch off of my friend to pay for my MOTHERS christmas present. And then, I was rudely forced to move away from the doors because apparently I was jacking up some numbering system. Which concludes the awful experience with cute clothes and rude workers and misplaced...
Read moreBoth last night, and today I went to Maurices. Last night being my first time I have ever stepped foot in that place. I was instantly greeted by two wonderful store associates who were very nice to me. Making sure I was finding things I liked, etc. Amber helped me in so many ways and made me feel happy to shop there. I tend to not always have the best experiences at stores and usually leave empty handed or saddened by the lack of clothing options. Everything I tried on was true to size and I bought everything I wanted. I can’t wait to go back to experience my time there again. Not only is everything beautiful, but they even write your name on your dressing room door for you. Thank you Amber for being such an asset to Maurice’s here in Greenwood. I will see you again...
