FYE — Local services in Greenwood

My son loves this store, especially the neca characters. He collects them. It's nice that there's a store he can go & buy them from vs having to order & wait for them to arrive. He also lives buying Funko Pops from here & trying different candies from all over the world. However they had us sign up for some card to save a couple bucks... that was 3 years ago! We have been getting charged multiple times for the card despite calling & canceling with a handful of people. We were promised over and over that it had been canceled and we wouldn't be charged anything else, only to find out that it happened again! It wasn't much but that's not the point. Last month, we finally had it! We had to cancel our debit card & get new account numbers for due to this! Then we had to update ALL our bills with our new account numbers, due to FYE not being able to be a trust worthy business & continuing to steal $ out of our account! I don't recommend this...

My family and I were getting out for the day and decided to stop at the mall. It wasn't necessarily planned and we didn't have masks with us. One employee was super helpful (this was the first store we came to) and she was super kind. The next was a store manager, I'm assuming, and told us we had to leave because we didn't have our masks with us. I'm disappointed because we were paying customers and they lost our service because she was so rude about it. So, we went to Think Geek and spent our time and money there and they understood that we forgot our masks and they handed out disposable masks to us and explained that the stores were given several large boxes of them upon reopening and agreed that that shouldn't have happened at FYE. In a time of our country being chaotic, I expect to still be treated like every other living human that forgets things or isn't always...

I went to the store today and made a purchase. As I was paying I was asked if I hiad a loyalty card. When I said no I was told if gave them my email I could get a loyalty card and save 10% so I agreed. Never was I told that I was signing up to be charged $11.99 a month.. I was asked to "sign that the information you provided to me was correct" when I was actually signing to agree to term that I was never told about and never offered to read. If I would have not carefully looked at my receipt I would have not known any of this. This is extremely deceitful and dishonest and I have no desire to shop at a place who tricks...
