Condado Tacos — Restaurant in Indianapolis

Very disappointed. I wanted to try this place for a while and was so excited to get the opportunity when going out to dinner with a friend I hadn't seen for a long time. However it was a huge disappointment. The dining room feels like a fast food joint. Definitely not a Mexican restaurant. You have to pay for chips and salsa ( the salsa was watered down and had no flavor).I wanted to try their tacos but everything is ala cart and the prices are high. $5-$6 for a single taco. I was pretty hungry so decided to try a burrito thinking out would be more filling. That was not the case. It was supposed to be southwest flavor. However it was mostly plain white rice. There were a few pieces of steak and maybe 4 peppers. However the only thing In tasted was a strong sour flavor that then turned to a very strong spicy flavor that was extremely overwhelming. I was with a guest so I didn't want to make a big deal about how horrible the food was. Especially since I recommended it and kinda pushed for is to go since I had been wanting to try it for so long. We then leave still hungry and disappointed cause I could not finish the burrito cause it was so spicy and the weird sour taste. However, to top it off on my way driving home the food began trying to come back up. I had to drive home trying to hold it down. I spent the next hour throwing up. I reached out to the establishment to tell them about their food making me ill and after a week, I have received no communication. I very least you expect is for them to acknowledge and apologize. This has been my far my worst experience with a food establishment. I have seen other reviews regarding people becoming ill after eating their food. This is disturbing considering it's a new...

Today 08/02/24 was my and my daughter, grandson and my daughter friend first time ever dining at this restaurant and I tell you what ‘It was very nice, clean and pleasant on the inside.’ We got waited on right away. The hostess made eye contact and had a nice, genuine smile. Even the restroom was clean and smelled fresh. We chose to eat on the outside because the weather was nice, pleasant and not too hot at all. Our waiter name was Nate and he was Fantasti!. I told Nate that I was a picky eater and I mean a picky eater and I cannot have anything spicy and everything he suggested that I should order from the choices of meats to the type of sauces for the chips. He knew the menu off the back of his mind. He didn’t even look at the menu. Nate was friendly, kind and just #1 in my book. I had No.complaints at all! After, we place our food order; it took no time for our order to come out. Nate, keep checking in a timely manner on our table to make sure if we needed anything and to see how our food order was. He showed concern and he just didn’t look at us as a number or money. He looked at us as human beings and he made us feel that way as well. Once we were done eating we found out that the restaurant had been open for only three weeks. My family and myself will be back and we will be asking for Nate. Job...

Tonight was my first ever time stopping at Condado Greenwood. I'd been wanting to try it since it opened in late 2024. Our server, Liz, was an absolute delight. She took the time to go over every aspect of the menu, how building our own tacos and nachos worked, and even suggested her favorite margarita. This is not service you get at an Applebee's, or a Chilis, or even an Outback Steakhouse. This is BETTER. She was very patient while we looked over the food menu and the drink menu. Liz even suggested that if I was going to have my Modelo if I would prefer it to be draught beer, to which I said absolutely! Liz consistently checked on us during our meal to make sure everything was cooked properly, everything tasted great, and if we needed/wanted any refills. If I were going to get any refills on my Pepsi then Liz would have made damn sure I had a new one as soon as my old one was 50% gone. Liz wasted no time making my first time out to this restaurant feel welcoming, inviting, and like I was the only table she was serving. I will definitely be back and it will 100% be because Liz's service was above and beyond what anyone will ever receive out during a casual dining experience....
