This past Saturday (January 13th, 2024) I attended a 2:30 pm class with 4 of my family members. We had a terrific time choosing colors, designs, and creating something lovely. We had many laughs and really enjoyed our time. It was a full class with a party of 9, a party of 2, and our party of 5. It was all led by a lovely Turkish gent, Omar. We learned a little bit about Turkish culture, were very much urged to travel to Turkey and most of all to allow plenty of time for shopping. :)
Part of the class was also trying some Turkish delight, a chewy sweet confection made of pistachios and fruit. There was supposed to be an offering of Turkish tea as well but with 16 of us needing assistance, instruction or just a chat, I can see how it was omitted with just one Omar running the show. Regardless, the class was fun and we all enjoyed the time.
The cost for the swan neck lamp. the item I chose, came out to about $120. I originally purchased the regular desk lamp but then upgraded after seeing it there in the studio. I was able to pay the difference via Zelle and my sister-in-law was able to pay cash also. it was a very easy and loose transaction and very no-pressure. This class is set on the third floor of the Stutz building downtown on the corner of N Capital and 10th street.(I think those are the right streets) Parking is available all around the Stutz building. Street parking is available and there are dedicated paid lots all around as well. Very inexpensive. Though I could have parked on the street I chose a lot where the total came to $5.45 for the entire day, expiring at midnight.
I will do this again and I recommend this to...
Read moreFraud alert! This was 100% false advertising! Paid over $150 for my daughter & I to make candle holders. Signed up for a Mosaic Art Studio CLASS and never got ANY guidance or help from the staff. They staff just gave us a "box of tools" and told us to read the directions & figure it out ourselves!!! They only thing the staff apparently did for the class was hand out "tool boxes" and put the cut glass & beads on the table. Zero help or guidance for anyone in this "class ". Also - we were supposed to be immersed in the Turkish culture & have Turkish music, Turkish coffee or tea & Turkish delights. We got none of this!! Super expensive for basically a make-and-take project that I had to drive downtown & pay for parking just to get zero instruction. Honestly, you can easily buy all the components for a candle holder at your local Hobby Lobby for under $20 & just make it at home. Complete ripoff. I paid the big price tag so we could have the instruction & experience Turkish culture. We got none of this. Don't waste your money! Get the materials at Hobby Lobby & do it at...

Turkish baklava, lokum, tea and coffee were delicious but most importantly the warm hospitality, totally friendly, no judgement place is a real charm🌹 I collected beautiful memories with my friends, coworkers during my last days in Inidiana.....
