First off, I have been to this Starbucks many times and always order Caramel Crunch Frappé with the Caramel and Crunch at the bottom, middle and top. However, lexxy who identified herself as the manager, advised me that they don't make the customers order to their request. She makes my frappè with only the crunch and caramel at the bottom and top. I then informed her that I requested it to be placed in the middle, so she decided to redo it but with an attitude. Lexxy (MANAGER) decided to put so much caramel inside of the cup it went all the way to the bottom in a thick glob, where I couldn't sip the drink. I then called to speak with the manager after noticing allllllllllllllll the caramel forming at the bottom of the cup. As I speak to the manager explaining the situation about the person that made the drink, whole time it was LEXXY instead of her identifying that "oh that was me that fixed your drink" she was being very antagonizing, rude and provided very bad customer service. As I'm still on the phone with her as I pulled up to Starbucks to take my drink in she continued to antagonize me asking "well why you didn't bring it right back" "why you didn't do this?" I told her well I'm pulling up as I come inside I witnessed her smiling and talking through her headset while hanging up from with me as I'm coming in. I'm like oh so you're the same person who made my drink but you didn't mentioned it on the phone. I asked her for corporate number and she said with attitude for me to Google it. She refunded me my money, however I'm still waiting for it to show on my card. This was very disappointing to get that kind of customer service being that I have never experienced this from this location or any other location. And for this to be a MANAGER, this is how Starbucks train their managers and employee's. The service and food is a 0. This isn't the type of person I would want being the face...
Read moreThe best part of this Starbucks is it’s close proximity to Methodist Hospital. It’s walking distance for people from the main hospital, neuroscience center, and the IT building. This location as has the most convenient drive thru so it’s used by everybody going to work downtown as well. This is a busy location.
That being said, this location isn’t managed well because it’s always mayhem. It isn’t unusual for the drive thru line to get backed up all the way to Capital Ave disrupting the flow of traffic. Since the staff has drive thru time metrics to push cars through the drive thru as quickly as possible, it comes at the expense to the wait time of mobile order and walk in customers. The only drink I purchase is a large, black, hot brewed coffee. It’s simple: pull the lever and 5 seconds later the cup is full. When I place a mobile order it’s usually between 4-13 minutes ETA in the app, but in actuality it’s 2-30 minutes. If you’re looking for a hot brew you’re better off just standing line because it gets poured by the cashier. Starbucks hasn’t figured out how to direct the hot brew orders to the printer at the cashier station, so hot brew mobile orders get put in the specialty drink queue and you have to wait for your sticker to pop out for the barista to give the sticker to the cashier. It’s completely asinine and extremely frustrating to witness this inefficient process.
Then comes the quality of the service. Sometimes you get a friendly barista that gives you a smile and thanks you for your order, sometimes you don’t. Sometimes the coffee is hot, fresh brewed, sometimes it’s warm, stale and get coffee grinds in your drink. There is absolutely no consistency with the experience at...
