University Center — Local services in Irvine

Being new to Irvine supposedly I had thought safety was supposed to be a priority in this town, however I have been constantly harassed by a ring of human traffickers posing as a “Christian youth group” at this town center. At first I had been approached by a young female and male who had appeared to also be college students, I had gave them my number as they seemed friendly and since I was new I had wanted to make friends. However since that day things have been spiraling out of control. I had been approached the next day by the same man, he had been trying to inquire about my address, first and last name , taking pictures of me as well as trying to dig out other personal details about me. After he leaves a 40 year old male approaches me shortly after trying to persuade me to follow him to this “Christian group”. I was immediately extremely uncomfortable as he had a very creepy demeanor and was an old man insisting on me texting him after me continuously declining the offer. He had gotten very aggressive with me. Trying to grab my phone from me when I attempted to call help. As I finally escaped from him I was approached by an older women outside of target handing me a flyer. She happened to know all these details about me that I had initially told the first guy. At this point i was shaking and looking for security as it was clearly obvious what this was and what their intent was. All I’m saying is this campus needs to have more security that can do their job and take issues like this seriously. I am afraid to leave my house anymore as well as ever walk foot on or near the university center ever again and this is something a college campus as well as police and security should take seriously because It is a matter of time until someone else or I become a...

The stores and options here are nice, but if you're a student beware. The security here is extremely rude to students and if they even think you're attempting to park here and go to UCI they will cite and tow your car.

Everytime I come here to grab something before I go to UCI I have some security guard stalking me. Today I had a security guard come up to me and rudely tell me they're going to tow my car because I'm attempting to cross the bridge to UCI when I was just getting some Dunkin. I then went back to my car so I could drive to UCI parking and a woman on a Segway is trying to cite my car and I had to argue with her for 10 minutes making me late to class.

I feel targeted as a student and I think the security practices here are grossly inappropriate in how they approach students. We should be given respect until proven otherwise. So rude, I wish there was somewhere else I could go for...

I like this place a lot for a good veriety of choice for almost all kind of dinning. Slightly oriental for random people. But if your are ok about Chinese and Korean meal, then this is a great place to go for it. I do personally prefer the Korean restaurant with a bibimbap options to choose from.That is really delicious.

You can also find an "American-reimagined" italian restaurant with a sirprisengly rich truly italien taste though. So I recommend that one too.

And for those one who are vegetarian there is one vegetarian cafe available as well.

If you're not hungry at the time you're there or you're looking for a takeaway option then blaze Pizza is something you're probably looking for.

And don't forget to try out a famous tee with different flavours or milk, blended or hot, with amazing bobas and jellyes inside...
