Located in Eastwood Village, Irvine, this park is quiet and clean. There seems to be plenty of parking and the area does seem very well manicured. The choice of activities for children are pretty good. My only one cautionary note is this: be very mindful of the metal surfaces and parts used for the slide and the poles on the playground apparatus because it could be extremely hot to the touch for a child , Or anyone really, and cause a first-degree or maybe even a second-degree burn. Always touch the surface yourself very carefully to make sure it is safe for your child. My thought is, they should either replace the metal surfaces with strong and durable plastic like most playgrounds have or simply add a large generous and effective overhead tarp or covering to shade the area generously.
