I ordered and unfortunately for me my card declined the first time. Luis was in the background and said something rude in Spanish and noding at his head and was mumbling something under his breath. I asked for his name and another employee, Karen, said why I said bc he is being rude and I would like to write a review. He said Luis, then very aggressively said "what's yours". Karen then said that it was just because we were "slowing things down". I apologized but said that wasn't really my problem because at that point she had said it kind of rudely. She then said it was our problem because we had insufficient funds and kept saying over and over it was our problem. She then took our drink and walked it to the back then brought it back again and when I asked why she took it to the back she said "to get strawberries? Is that OK with you" passive-aggressively" then she kept repeating if its ok with me over and over again. I asked for her name because I didn't appreciate her being rude then she got angrier and she just kept saying "I don't care I'm not being rude if anything im helping you". All I wanted was to buy my 2 tacos, quesadilla, and drink for my kids. Yes my card declined the first time but that was not something I could control and the second time it swiped it worked. Instead of trying to resolve the issue faster they just got rude which I understand the line was held up but I apologized sincerely. The level of service was...
Read moreThis location has a very old building, and no screen to review drive thru orders. Lately we have been getting a lot of mistakes in our orders. Always paying for extra cheese but getting it 50 percent of the time. Yesterday, my 9 year old asked me to wait until he checks his food for accuracy. The collared shirt manager guy is not only rude about us wanting to check, when I said that we had been getting some mistakes he actually said with attitude “yeah right!” What?! We have come for years, to be treated like we don’t matter may have ended our relationship with this location (not that this fella cares-middle aged Caucasian man). We wanted mild sauce for the kids order, he did a hand full of “inferno”. What a mess, we’ve gone to this location for decades, he was so rude to us that I’m worried at what he will do to our food. (Side note peeling scab from an injury on the back side of his forearm, NOT covered by a bandages). He did not give me A Receipt for Our order, so I couldn’t do a survey, which is why I’m reaching out here. (Food was delicious, as always... thank you Del Taco for your quality food, however your management staff is not quality in...
Read moreThey get 3/5 because they get my order right about half of the time. About half of the time they hire people who don't hire people who speak fluent English (which makes it hard to communicate my order). If you order late at night, the food isnt usually fresh. The dining room is about half clean (every other table has food scraps on it and the floor is dirty by the soda fountain). Customer service is 50/50 good/bad, depends on who is working and what time. Overall, this del taco is like coin, there's a 50/50 shot you will either be satisfied or disappointed. Don't get me wrong, I love del taco, but this one has disappointed me too many times to not criticize it. I only go here because it is across the street from where I live and there is not a good dining selection within walking distance. I will continue to patronize this del taco, but i go with the expectation that my visit will be an uphill battle of iffy...
