I haven’t left a review yet for this place because I keep hoping the people are just having a bad day and it will get better. Their customer service isn’t good. Attitudes aren’t nice but cocky. I’m not sure what it is here but they have some different activities for people but that’s the only positive thing I have for this place. Now when you buy a Groupon you have to pay taxes for that Groupon at the place. Only their socks are allowed. I kinda get that but she said it’s because their specially made for the stuff. It’s the same socks like altitude has. Basically just say the truth. They just want people to wear your socks. It’s an extra money charge for them. It’s all about money 💰 Last time we were here we ordered food and didn’t get it tell 30mins cause the kids were playing in the back of the kitchen. We had to remind them about our food, that’s the only reason we got our food. I don’t know who owns this place but this saying fits “If ethics are poor at the top, that behavior is copied down through organization” it’s sad but true.I know the owner or someone else is going to respond back to this comment to try to cover what I said to try to change it but the truth hurts but hopefully it will help them change and be better at their customer service.

Our visit to Ground Control proved to be a fantastic experience for our 3+ years old. Despite initial hesitations in the new environment, she soon immersed herself in the various attractions, showcasing her love for exploration. The indoor fun playing area provided a diverse range of activities, allowing kids to engage and enjoy. However, the coexistence of all age groups in the same space did present a challenge. Some hyperactive kids occasionally posed a concern, resulting in minor collisions. This aspect might give parents a moment of pause when considering whether to let their children dive into the public play area. Nevertheless, the overall enjoyment for the kids was undeniable. The facility offers different types of tickets, catering to various preferences, and even provides a designated party area for special celebrations. Despite the occasional chaotic energy, the fun and entertainment value for the kids is unquestionable. In conclusion, Ground Control offers a great option for a day of fun and play, with the only consideration being the mix of age groups in shared spaces. Parents can weigh the excitement and joy against the communal play environment when deciding to let their little ones embark on this adventure.

Yall.. be extremely careful when going down the slides...Or just avoid them. There's a dip when you hit the mat, and it made me and my son both flip and land on our necks. I now have a torn muscle in my neck that's causing crazy pain, luckily my sons ok. After this happened, I watched MULTIPLE people do the same thing. I don't understand how they haven't fixed this. Can't sue or anything because of the waver that you sign.. But shit... Y'all need to get this fixed before someone's paralyzed!! I wish I had watched other people go down it before we did.. I wouldn't have even dared to go down those slides..Very disappointed.. I've been to the slide park in Denton, and their landing mats are completely different. Never had an issue there. The place is cool, though. Just stay clear of the slides...

I took my 2 year old because I had heard good things about this place. It was my first visit. It was super crowded with a long ticket line. It was also hard with a little one because bigger kids were everywhere playing chase and being very crazy/dangerous with nobody seemingly monitoring. I finally found a little corner my daughter and I could safely play. That is when a young woman came up to me and scolded me for not having on their branded socks. I had read on the website (I guess not carefully enough) that you had to have the proper jumping socks. I had a pair that I brought and purchased a pair there for my daughter. I explained to the woman that it was my first visit, and asked if she could forgive it this time and I would purchase the socks next time. She said no and that I should have read the signs. I told her I had not seen them and the staff at the front desk had not mentioned it. I explained that I was having a difficult time even staying because there was not much to do there safely with my two year old, and asked again if she could just give me a break since I would not be there for long. She said no and that was the policy. I asked to speak with the manager and she said she was the manager. It was not really about the socks - it was the way in which the woman treated me and her total lack of care. They had kids acting totally wild and dangerously all around me and they had long lines of people waiting - but she was concerned about my socks. I was just a mom with one baby - in a tiny corner - trying to do at least anything there that would be safe for my daughter. I work in hospitality - and this woman did not have any politeness or compassion. It was very disappointing. I then went over to get a piece of pizza at the snack bar, and noticed the tables were full. There was another area with seats on a second level and I asked the girl working at the snack bar if we could sit up there. And she said "I don't know. I just work at the snack bar so you need to ask someone else." That was just another unfriendly encounter with the staff. It seems like they also need to focus more on training their staff than worrying about a lady in the corner with a baby not wearing their...

Booked a birthday party a month out. Kim did great. Day before party Kim gave me a call. There was a scheduling conflict. Her supervisor was using Kim as the middle man. I had to adjust my party because of Ground Controls scheduling. I arrive day of event, the next day, day of event with the grand total increasing $300 dollars. The scheduling conflict would have caused my party to lose 30 minutes. So my reply was ok well just keep us till 10pm instead of 930PM and I don't lose my 30 minutes. The day before and through all my communication I was never told my total event price had changed. I paid a deposit and received that receipt. But never knew my party had increased. Immediately the day of party I did not want to pay for the remaining balance they were telling me since it was different than what we had agreed on. They told me If I didn't pay they would have to cancel my party. I had about 100 guest including our small jumpers looking at me while I talked to the VP of operations on their phone. I didn't care about the price. While I was on the phone my wife paid the remaining balance since our guest were waiting in the front. It is not the staffs fault. I understand they need leadership and training. They don't have a GM since he was doing some illegal things, theft. I was told by their VP. I took care of their staff. Michael did great, our host. I didn't get the VPs name nor the acting managers name. I was too busy wanting to give my daughter her much anticipated birthday party.

I didn't like being threaten to cancel my party after I had already paid a $700 deposit and had all my guest waiting. I also had our event catered so I had the catering food waiting in the check-in area.

Not all activities or venues were available. The rock climbing wall was not operational due to staffing. This isbmy daughter's favorite activity

Facility is clean. Looks new and well maintained. Michael cares and is an asset to who ever wishes to give him a better opportunity, I hate to see him be disregard by this brand or franchise.

I plan to continue to patron this facility with my kids. Again it is a nice clean well...

I couldn't reply to your response, so I am adding another review. Please read all your responses to all people, and people can smell arrogance and rudeness. First thing, I never called the manager any bad words. That's a makeup story, of course, sympathy gain. You may have a audio video recording to pull for proof Let me put more details. I had party 5:30pm and was told around 7pm to go and check out and check off if I had to pay anything, and then I could return back. So in between party time I went to check off. Paid for the guy 20% tip per manager that everyone does 20%. I was told they have another party at 8 so leave the deck area before that. The guy who was serving us was in constant touch and kept us informed when to leave from deck. Since kids were playing, we went down. I went back to counter around 9 to get t-shirt for bday kids, but no one mentioned anything. All of a sugmdden when we were leaving someone is stopping Guests and behaving rude with them to look for me. The guy who served us knew where I was the whole time. And NO one mentioned that you have to go out of premises in 2 hours. At the end I am being asked to pay another $250 that I had not been informed and never authorized. So I would never pay that was not agreed at check off. I will surely dispute charges if you do unauthorized transactions. I am free to put my opinion as a parent of 2 kids who would want to have fun on their birthday that this is not the right place if someone is looking for what I was expecting. Rather, go to a place that allows everything plus...
