I been shopping here regularly and really amazed with all varities they have in store
Been shopping with Patel brother on Rochelle and Patel brother next to sams club all time
Today I am posting this just after seeing few reviews of other guys and no intention to hurt anyone ... we are Indians and we know how we deal with things when we won’t to get away to return it at any cost ..
I am shopping at same store and other location every week but never faced any bad customer service from any employees or even with the guy who is managing or working ...
I have seen customer fighting to that same guy many times to return products and when it clearly shows on receipt that due to covid no return or exchange than we should understand that before buying it stocking at our place
Well you always want to say bad about people working at other end when you are customer ... this guys working at this moment and helping you is big thing so please respect them and support them
They are providing gloves which no other store is doing it at any moment and I am thankful to management for doing this hats off to you guys
Most of time I have seen that customer fighting with the guy for return products or sale item which has limit and they want to take more product of sale items and stock by lieing then saying it’s for others and all I have seen this live while I was at checkout counter ... one lady she took almost 30-40 cases of jivraj tea which it clearly showed limit is 2 quantity per person and taking small chilli almost 3-4 bags around I guess 7-8 pounds Which was written limit 2 lb but still they were allowing for 4-5 lb per person but if you buy 3-4 bags of 7-8 lb that’s not what you do to stock up your place and not let other people get same product
Before we point to that guy or any staff I am sure we know how we treat them
Second thing I have seen about that guy is he is always helping and he knows all stock according to shelve and columns which I was impressed while he was telling to customer that it’s on line 3 left side 3 column and that customer did found it that’s called he knows products stuff
Please I don’t write all this big essay but when I see people defaming such people for there return products and all and point them to look bad at big platform like google and not only him but company of Patel brother too it feels bad as we are customer and we do anything to get our things done
Hope people before posting any comments on any store and any place will think about this
Sorry if I said anything but it’s my point of view
Respect and trust me this guys doing great job standing in front without thinking of COVID and helping you guys everyday
If he yelled at customer I am sure there would be a reason as I have seen him always making people smile and talking nicely while asking everyone do they need any help to find anything
I bet so many customer will accept it that he has asked to everyone this thing and even offered tea if someone said he...
Read moreIrving Patel Store Management - Review the CCTV footage (Vegetable aisle 05-11-2024 8:40 PM - 9:00 PM) and advise your employees about not removing all the items from shopping cart one hour before the closing time assuming they were abandoned.
Your store employee simply took all the items away from my cart and other carts and placed them back to the vegetable aisle. She never recognized her mistake and never apologized once and was arguing that it was her job to clear the items one hour before store closure. She never asked anyone if it was their cart and emptied a lot of shopping carts. She claimed it was my mistake she "thought" my cart was an abandoned one.
Other store employee who came to assist me after hearing the hassle understood her mistake and at least showed expression of her mistake. Store customers convinced me saying its alright she made the mistake, let her go but the female store employee was adamant and claimed it was my mistake.
I visited Irving Patel Brothers at around 8:30PM, an hour before store closing time and started shopping the green vegetables and placing them on my shopping cart. I left the cart at around 10 feet distance in the same aisle and was grabbing some green chilis. When I came back to the place where I left my cart, all my vegetables (4-5 different kinds) were missing.
I checked all the carts on the same aisle and was wondering where all my veggies gone. I checked entire store looking for all the carts and could not find my cart and vegetables. I was thinking some of my friends came to the store and started pranking me. I didn't find any of my friends and was lost and I started over shopping vegetables. I had to start over.
Then, I saw a female store employee grabbing the vegetables from the carts and putting them back on the respectable vegetables aisle without asking anyone. I approached her and asked "Did you take away all of my vegetables and place them back to store aisle". She said she thought my cart was abandoned. I said you never asked anyone before removing items for the other cart. She said Sir I did not know it was your cart and you should have told me. I said who all should I say that I am shopping and I am leaving my cart over here. She was lost.
I asked her why she was doing this when the store closing time was after 40 mins. She said you should have answered my call and I responded you never asked anyone and me and how could I know you were taking away all my items if you never asked me. I decided that it was no use talking to her as she was blindly taking away all the items and placing them back without asking anyone if the cart belonged to them. I pointed her my new shopping cart and said this was my cart now and I had to start over and not to empty the cart.
Other customers and employee witnessed this incident.
Mistakes happen but this store employee blamed me for her assumption and wasted my time and made me start over my shopping again. She does not have any customer...
Read moreSubject: Extremely Disrespectful Experience with Store Manager "Jai" at Patel Brothers
I am deeply disappointed and utterly appalled by the deplorable behavior I experienced at Patel Brothers, all thanks to their store manager "Jai." My recent encounter with him was nothing short of a nightmare, and I feel compelled to share my terrible experience with others to prevent them from suffering the same mistreatment.
From the moment I approached Jai with a question, it was evident that he lacked even the most basic understanding of customer service. His tone was abrasive, and he seemed completely disinterested in addressing my concerns. Rather than providing any assistance, he chose to use offensive and unwarranted language, telling me to "leave the property" without any valid reason or justification.
Moreover, as if that wasn't enough, I overheard him speaking with one of his store colleagues, instructing them to "ignore him," referring to me. I cannot fathom the unprofessionalism and rudeness exhibited by someone in a managerial position. Treating customers with such disdain is unacceptable and detrimental to the reputation of any establishment.
I am a firm believer in the importance of respectful and courteous interactions between businesses and their patrons. Unfortunately, my experience with Jai shattered any expectations of receiving decent customer service at Patel Brothers. As a long-time customer, this incident has left me deeply disheartened and compelled to reconsider future visits to this store.
I sincerely hope that Patel Brothers takes this feedback seriously and addresses the issue promptly. Training and reevaluating the behavior of their staff, especially Jai, should be a top priority. No customer should ever be subjected to such disrespect and mistreatment while simply seeking assistance.
In conclusion, I urge potential customers to exercise caution when visiting Patel Brothers, as the conduct of their store manager, Jai, is far from what one should expect in a retail setting. Until appropriate action is taken and improvements are made to ensure a more respectful and customer-centric environment, I regretfully cannot recommend this store.
Let us all hope that Patel Brothers reevaluates their approach to customer service and strives to create a more welcoming and respectful atmosphere for...
