Kroger, you did an awesome job at chasing away a customer! I am happy to announce that I will no longer be spending my money in your stores. I decided to stop shopping inside because too many times I had a person at the register just stand there, almost impatiently waiting for ME to catch up bagging my OWN groceries while they stood there, waiting on me, so they could speed-scan more because they ran out of room to fit more groceries down the conveyor belt. And were so kind NOT to stop it from moving and smashing half of my things... surprisingly, I still shopped at Kroger and decided to go to grocery pick-up. The issues there were a real piece of work. Always gave me the wrong items, forgot items (even though I was charged as if they were put in my bags...) to suddenly, my groceries were never ready at the time I had chosen to pick them up, forcing me to start choosing and earlier time, just to get them ON time... now, I decided to STILL stay with Kroger and go with delivery. UGH!!!! Now, I had to call to find out where the heck my groceries were because they hadn't been delivered within the 1hr time I chose! The lady I spoke with in customer service informed me that groceries were running late and I should receive mine in another 45 minutes to an hour?!?! Why is your staff trained to NOT give the respect of letting people know this??? I, like a bunch of others, I'm sure, have other things to do besides just sit here and wait on something that will now be 2hrs late, and I HAD TO BE THE ONE TO CALL CUST SVC just to find this out??? I did not wish to or care to receive my groceries at 9p at night!!!! I had other things I absolutely needed to do and sit here waiting for something that I didn't even know would be so late was NOT part of that!!! At least give some respect to your customers and call them when it's known that things are running late and allow us to decide or choose if we are even ok with or can do the altered delivery time!!! WTH?!?! This was the final straw. Y'all clearly do not care about your customers, and it shows, plain as day. For all the surveys you've sent me, and for how honest I was when I filled each and every one out... nothing has changed, and at this point, I feel my hard earned money and time is way more...
Read morei have deep respect for Kroger Dillions opening at 12noon to allow church goers to keep their day sabbath, but what I can not appreciate is the techs putting the pharmacist in a place that he or she shouldn't be. The pharmacist opened right on time but the techs were not there; seeing there was a line already the pharmacist did right to take over the register.Because the techs were late it caused the flow to be extrememly out of wack! So when the line started getting even bigger, no tech came to check out to take over. She checked one person out, then left for the back again. Crappy, crappy service. The tech needed to stay because having two techs processing and filling makes absolutely no sense. There's no pharmacist checking because the pharmacist is doing check out! The pharmacist did not become a Dr to be at check out cause techs were not on time for their shifts! It doesn't matter if you are 1 minute late, 1 minute can cause a line!!!! There's no reason there should be a pharmacist on the check out when no one else can do PHARMACIST CHECK! I was the 2nd person in line when they opened, 10 minutes after checking in for my prescription i asked if it was ready, which would not be possible since the pharmacist could not do a pharmacist check on register! No one had even started it even though they knew not only was I withdrawing from blood pressure meds but it seriously does not take that long if your work flow is in check!!!! The same tech that checked that 1 person out then went to the back again, finally filled the prescription!! Being that it clearly states on the label that it was a NEW PRESCRIPTION, and Im a medicare receipient, it is REQUIRED that they offer counselling with the pharamcist. She didnt even ask if I had any questions! This should be automatic!! OBRA '90 mandate specifically requires offering counseling to Medicaid patients, the Medicare Part D program requires plans to offer Medication Therapy Management (MTM) services to certain beneficiaries, which include a pharmacist-led review of their medications to ensure safe and effective use. This is your tax dollars, people! It costs citizens more if meds aren't being utilized safely and...
Read moreI’m in this Kroger at least twice a week. The store is always clean + the checkout staff & floor employees have always been helpful. I wish I could say the same for the staff at the Deli & Meat / Seafood area. I’ve had several experiences where I’ve spent an extensive amount of time (5+ minutes) waiting to be helped while also not being acknowledged. However, during that entire time the employee(s) in the Deli & Meat/Seafood area go along working without even acknowledging me or thanking me for being patient as they finish up a task.
This morning I got to the Meat/Seafood area at 6:55am. I then proceeded to wait till 7:10am to be helped by the gentleman setting up the Seafood display. The gentleman never even acknowledged me while I stood waiting for him to finish his work. In fact, the manager who had walked by a couple times had to walk over to the employee and ask him to help the customers who were lining up to be served (I was happy to wait as long as I was able to pick out the fish I wanted for our special Christmas Eve dinner). I shared that I wanted to purchase some King Salmon at a specific weight – the employee pointed me towards a small isle that had prepackaged fish and said I could pick it up over there. I found this to be extremely frustrating and rude since I had been waiting patiently for over 15 minutes and he could have asked what I wanted when I started waiting. The isle with packaged fish didn’t have the size I was looking for which made me feel like I had waisted my time and this employee would be unable to help me since he wasn’t interested in listening to what I wanted to buy.
I ended up buying my fish from Whole Foods on MacArthur (which had everything displayed, multiple employees in the department and most important a welcome greeting from two of the staff working in the area). Lesson learned – I’ll no longer buy my Deli meat or fish...
