Blaze Pizza — Restaurant in Irving

Terrible management of this location, lots of issues on first visit: Our pizzas came out burnt and had to be redone. This is after it took 15 minutes to make and checkout to begin with.

They forgot the dessert we ordered and had to be reminded

The trash was overflowing while an employee at a table sat there folding boxes. Maybe prioritize emptying trash over folding boxes when you can fold a box on demand. Trash was left on tables because trash was full.

This is a pizza place, there were no parmesan cheese or red peppers out, you have to disrupt an employee at the counter to ask for them. Stock the packets by the soda machine or on the tables. No reason we should make an employee stop what they're doing and slow them down to pull packets of an expected pizza topping.

The ingredients and remade pizzas (first ones were burned) were good which is why we gave it 2 stars. The poor management of this location dragged it down. With good management we might of had a better experience. We visited on Sunday 5/23/2021 around 1pm. The employee making our pizzas was really friendly, made good conversation while we waited on customers ahead of us. Don't know name but he had a hat on with curly, somewhat red hair.

Update: We decided not to go back after this visit today but heard afterward this place recently opened. If that's the case, we may give them a second chance once they work out their issues and will...

We just moved to las colinas and were looking for a new pizza place. My family of 7 orders pizza every Friday. Last Friday we tried blaze. Tried to take advantage of advertised offers for rewards points and went through the whole rigamarole and the points did not work. I tried to explain this to the manager and everything was “well that’s decided at the National level “ and there was nothing they could do. He did end up giving me a couple desserts which I appreciated but was still annoyed about the experience. Then this Friday I tried to call in an order while driving home. The automated message tries to get you to order online. When I pressed the number to say “I want to order by phone” someone answered and said oh we don’t take phone orders you have to call our call center. What?? So I just showed up to order in person. The total was much more expensive than I thought it would be based on their posted prices. When I asked, apparently I had ordered a large but the listed price is for medium (their menu shows no different sizes and no different prices). When I tried to point this out the manager basically said well most people understand that larger cost more. What?? How did I know I was ordering something larger than what is on the menu? No acknowledgement that their whole system is completely confusing and it was somehow my fault like I’m stupid. My large family will take our weekly pizza...

so when is this location closing down? i mean you might as well. I have been going to blaze for at least 2 years. i never had a burnt, sour, so wrong. pizza ever. but this is my 1st time at this location... i mean i could've used that pizza to stab someone and it wouldn't fracture. I walked in there are 3 employees- one looked at me like i was in his way... one had the worst attitude you just know he is about to give you a bad experience. the other lady had her back turned the whole time. no one greeted. i stood there for 5 mins, obviously i was searching for my box on the takeout table - both employees noticed- not a word was said. then he asked me my name and handed me a box that's been sitting there since i got there. when he opened to fire place to take pizzas out for prep, you can see like some of the ones he moved around they were burning, one had a big bubble on top... like what is going on here! but i just left with my box- opened it and you can see like they put min amount of cheese on there and no meat on it. like WHAT... even then i proceeded and ate it it was so bitter and hard. i just ended up throwing it away. smh. i will celebrate the day they change management and the whole workforce or shut this location down. look around at the other locations no one has below 4 stars let alone below...
