I wish there is a negative star system in America. i was coustomer since last six years. i'm living in Arlington. when i visited the store, and i was waiting in the 2 line to checkout. i was first in the line. the 2nd line cashier was busy so i asked the cashier who is checking out in 1st line if i can checkout overthere. there wasn't any customer in 1st line. 1st line cashier said yes, so moved my stuff from 2nd line to 1st line. after i placed my stuff on the belt to checkout on 1st line, the customer who was standing behind me on the 2nd line he came to 1st line. he was Nepali, so the 1st line cashier refused to checkout my stuff. however, i was in 1st line. 1st line and 2nd line cashier moved my stuff around. both cashiers refuse to checkout my stuff. 1st line cashier give my stuff to 2nd line cashier, and 2nd line cahier gave my stuff to first line. they guys moved my stuff around. wow! what such a management. however, you stand first in the line, the cashier can't see you. they take nepali customer fist. What is such a discrimination? Another lady came to the aisle, she didn't know anything, and she tried to argue with my mom. seriously! However, you stand first in the line, the cashier can't see you. They check out the customer who stands second in the line. wow! what such a excuse to not checout. What such a blind cashier? if patel brother doesn't manage their staff, they might lose all customer. they lose their credit. i was customer since last six years. since patel brother don't care for their customer, i will shop grocery from Arlington. there are many store in arlington. even arlington store has better price. many store in the arlington sell whole case of okra for $5.00 dollar, and more cheaper than...
Read moreI thought of sharing my BAD experience at Patel Brothers, West Roshelle Road at Irving, TX. I have been shopping there for past two years. I felt that is is a good store with good customer service.. Well all that 2 years of experience just changed in one day... Here is what happened... Couple of weeks ago we bought grocery worth $95 from Patel brothers, when we reached home we realized that one of the item is missing from the list. Then I checked the receipt the charge for that item was there. I told my wife don't worry it is small stuff, If you like to call the store and let them know what happened and they will work something out. So she called the store and they said OK come down and we will work it out. Following Sunday when we went. The young guy claimed to be "the owner" of the store took the receipt and went inside the office for good 20-30 minutes. When he came back, he asked me to come to his office. When I went to the office, He was showing me the video of that days shopping and started telling that look at this, here is the item in the cashiers counter I felt so bad as if I was a thief and trying to rob him. I told him That's what I was trying to tell you that the item was scanned but somehow not got in the cart. He was not listening me and started saying that if you go to walmart that's what they will do. They will not give you the item if the video shows that it was scanned and put in the bag. I still feel bad that I went there to even discuss this. I told him that's fine and determined I will never go...
Read morePatel Brothers is an Indian Store located in Irving Texas. This was my 1st time going to the store. The parking lot is fairly clean and there is usually a lot of parking spaces available. Upon entering the store it reminded me of Smart & Final. The store was fairly neat inside. The experience was kind of weird because I am a black female and apparently they don't get a lot of people there who aren't Indian. Other than that the shopping experience was pleasant. I was there to purchase an Indian fruit called amla. Since it was my 1st time purchasing it, I had a difficult time finding it. But it was no problem beacuse one of the gentleman who would stocking the fruits and vegetables directed me with no problem. When I checked out The young lady at the cash year was fairly indifferent when it came to taking me out. As you check me out she's spoke with another lady who was standing at the register, and they spoke in a different language. This sometimes makes people uncomfortable but I didn't care. I had what I wanted and I left the store without incident. If you are a need of any type of products that are based in India, this is definitely the story or want to go to. I could have purchased this product on Amazon but it was so much easier to go to the local store. I do...
