KFC — Restaurant in Irvington

I sure wish I read the reviews before visiting this dump! My cashier was also BRIANNA and the ugly one with the dreads named JANELLE handed me my order. I promise, if my 3 year old was not in the back seat i would have walked in on both of these two dog faced chicken heads.

Since we were undecided on what to order my husband(driver) asked the cashier BRIANNA if we could have a moment to review the menu. Less than 30 seconds later she jumped back on the intercom asking if we were ready in a demanding voice. We assumed that maybe it was busy although there were no cars in front or the back of us. When my husband started to place the order after 1 minute, the cashier was extremely rude and impatient especially while repeating the order back to us. We felt like she was rushing us. My husband asked politely to add something to the order and her response was "what you want" as if we were bothering her. My first instance was to pull off and go to popeyes where the service and food is always superb, however, I was really hungry. Once we got to the window to pay,the cashier repeated the order but again in a sarcastic voice. No manners and unfriendly. At this point I leaned over to view the womans name tag. She was irate and said something to the nature of "clocking out" there was a man also near her with no uniform. Needless to say the service was poor and so was the cold, greasy food. The chicken was so dark almost like burned and I took a tiny piece of skin to taste it tasted burned and bitter so I asked if I could change it to a not so burned ones I was told that all the chickens came out like that and he showed me the ones inside the warmer and it all looked burned. I asked why it got burned the worker said " it is the oil that was used that made it looked dark but it isnt burned , the oil is old and used all day". OMG !!! This is a health concern. As soon as I got home from KFC I immediately sat down to write a review which I felt I needed to do to make people aware and the KFC that using an old ,overused oil is not healthy for the body if not toxic.. I might have to contact DOH and report this matter.I hope KFC will do something about this! BTW this KFC branch is in Irvington...

Had to deal with a beggar who wouldn't take no for an answer. Kept telling him no and he wouldn't leave. After the 5th refusal he went to the next car. Then waited in the drive thru for 20+ minutes. After I got to order they said they were out of chicken. I told them that's like McDonalds being out of burgers. They could care less. I was told it was busy? How busy can it be if the dining room isn't even open. This is not the first time KFC has been out of chicken. Not once has any other chain I have been to ever been out of food.
