I rented the Relaxation house 135 for my birthday week with my family. I specifically asked for a sofa bed because my mom is elderly and can go up and down stairs often. I was told by the original owners that it was not a problem and that can be arranged. I booked 6 months in advance and before May, the house was sold to another owner. This second owner spoke with me and also assured me that the sofa bed was not a problem and that the house does have a sofa bed. The day we arrived, we noticed that the sofa bed was on the upper floor and not on the main floor. I texted him asking what happened to the sofa bed on the main floor and he suggested that I rented a sofa bed so my mom can sleep downstairs!
After my disappointment with his response, my brother and I brought the sofa bed to the main floor and it was a great task! We finally brought it down and accommodate my mom so she can enjoyed her time . I mentioned that we brought the sofa downstairs but it’s too heavy for us to bring it up and he expected me to bring it up, not only he expected me to bring it up, he wants me to pay $100 for the cleaning company to bring it upstairs.
The place is very beautiful but dealing with deceiving people damper the experience and the quality of what we paid for. I love this place but I don’t think I would recommend to anyone....
Read moreWe spent Christmas at 109 and had a great stay! The free use of kayaks and paddleboards was a huge bonus. The unit is well-stocked and Tom is a responsive host. The unit is perfectly centrally-located in Islamorada. You can walk to Hog Heaven for great BBQ and to shoot pool. The Publix is a short drive away and has it all. Be sure to grab a key lime colada to watch the sunset at Lorelei’s, eat lunch at Wahoo’s, feed the Tarpon at Robbie’s, enjoy breakfast at Bob’s Bunz or Mangrove Mike’s, and grab a juicy burger at M. E. A. T. The pool at Angler’s Reef is spacious and the view is divine. The community is peaceful and well-maintained. Unit 109 was great for us and our two teen boys. Be sure to stay at Tom’s when you come to the Keys and definitely go fishing with Kenny from CaribSea Sport...
Read moreThis place is magical!! We love staying here year after year. The owners are very responsive to any and all requests if needed. The home is just beautiful and the ground it sits on is like being in a fairy tail. Also comes with a boat dock for renting a boat and catching dinner, which we did 3 times last week. Many activities close as well such as marina manatee watching, dolphin tours, rent a guided two person catamaran to jet though the mangroves, snorkel at alligator reef and so much more. They also have a beautiful pool on the grounds and local shops within walking distance. I almost forgot…there are bicycles under the carport. We didn’t have time to ride them, but it’s another option for...
