For my 40th bday, my wife and I booked Captain Will for a full day. We had made plans to catch fish for a cook and catch dinner that evening since my wife had never experienced straight from the sea to the table. Then we were going to divide the remaining time between bottom fishing, trolling, and free lining trying to pick up a sailfish. We never did get a sail to cooperate, but we came home with 3 large yellow fin/sushi grade tuna, 15 yellow tail, 2 snappers, and an assortment of rudders and runners for table fare.

Captain was very good at explaining the "how" to fish and letting us do our own thing. We have fished a lot in our lifetime so once he let us know the technique, we could figure it out. I think I maybe touched a bait 3x the entire day as Will was back and forth making sure we had a line in the water.

The variety was just right so we didn't get too bored trolling and had a shot to experience several different methods and species in the ocean. This is the old school, enjoyable kind of fishing for groups that want to fish, not sit back in a recliner and drink beer and drive around. Ending the day with yellow fin on free lined bait was a blast. Gaffed, iced, and eaten!

Thank you Will, you worked your butt off for us. Left the dock promptly at 7AM, back on shore at 4:30PM and Will had our fish filleted and bagged, ready for transport by 5PM.

Today we went out on an adventure with Captain Will Coffin and what an adventure it was!!! The day started out promptly at 7:00 a.m. this morning at the meeting place right off the highway. It was very easy to find. We literally walked through the gate and right into his Boat. So if you have an elderly person in your group it’s not a long walk down a pier to meet up with your Captain. We caught some bait right off the get go which was fun in itself. Then we went out after Mahi- Mahi which as you can tell from the pictures we found in great numbers!! We were in 3 to 4 foot waves and Captain Will’s Boat was quick and comfortable to get from spot to spot even in less than Ideal conditions. We caught probably close to 20 Mahi!!! Then after the bite turned off for Mahi we switched gears and started in on red grouper and mutton snapper. Captain will put us on fish all day long and with have two young boys on board he handled everything that could have possibly happened!!! This was by far a trip of a life time and I can’t thank our Captain enough what an amazing job this man does!!! I can’t wait to...

I had one of the best fishing trips of my life with Captain Will. My dad and I booked with him three straight days and he worked with us to make each day its own unique adventure based on what we said we wanted to target when we discussed the trip. He went above and beyond for us and we ended up leaving Islamorada with over 50lbs of fish fillets (all of which he filleted himself flawlessly and in a timely manner). He answered all our questions to the best of his knowledge and was patient with us when we wanted more in depth answers. All of his equipment worked flawlessly and his boat was a smooth ride. We went in early June and caught Mahi, Mutton Snapper, Barracuda, Grouper, Yellow Tail Snapper, Blackfin Tuna, and a lone Skip Jack Tuna.
