Washington Adventures Kid Addition Part:8 Jacob Two Trees 📍 Issaquah, WA 🅿️ Parking is limited. There is a small lot at Issaquah Community Center (301 Rainier Blvd S, Issaquah, WA 98027) and some parking available on nearby streets. 🥾 Jakob Two Trees lives about a quarter mile from the Issaquah Community Center, down the Rainier Trail. (Paved so easy access for most) 🌟 We did a mini offshoot shown in the video, but everything is paved, leading to Jacob Two Trees. 🧌 Touch, hug, high five Jacob. But please don't climb oh him to keep him happy and healthy. 🐕  Fenced in dog park at beginning of stroll.  🥙 explore downtown Issaquah afterward We are lucky enough to have  6 trolls in our region. 1) Jacob Two Trees (Issaquah, WA) 2) Pia the Peacekeeper (Bainbridge Island) 3) Frankie Feetsplinters (Ballard) 4) Bruun Idun (West Seattle) 5) Oscar The Bird King (Vashon) 6) Ole Bolle (Portland) All the trolls have a beautiful, important message to share with us all. Jacob Two Trees' message is " A hundred circle suns not old   Cause time will stretch   And loop and fold   So stop breath in-   Breath out. Behold   The trees have sung.   The story is told." The artist behind the trolls is Thomas Dambo, and this collection is called The Northeest Trolls - Way of the Bird King. Come see them while they are here. With them being made of recycled material, they won't be here forever. But for the foreseeable future, definitely add Mr. Jacob to your adventure bucket list. Like, save, and follow along for more. ❤️ #explorewashington #jacobtwotrees #pnwkids #kids #trollstroll #getoutside #kidswhoexplore #issaquah #pnw #family #familyfun #toddlers #northwesttrolls #wayofthebirdking #snoqualmietribe #rootedinmoments #adventuresoutside #familystrolls #trolls #recycledart #nature #sustainability #birdhouses #Snoqualmietribe

The community center was built some time ago, with an obvious leaning towards youth. The weight/workout area is quite small, but it can get your sweat up and your muscles bulging. Here's the deal: Issaquah is one of the fastest growing areas in Greater Puget Sound. It is a HIGHLY affluent area. In terms of communities that are near this size, this community center is painfully small and far too focused on children's activities as opposed to being balanced. An example would be Lynnwood (which is most certainly larger than Issaquah, but not more affluent) which has a magnificent community center that is state of the art and serves a wide range of demographics and ages VERY well. At some point, Issaquah is going to have to address these issues and build a community center that is relevant for the entire community, not just the families that it serves so very well (and kudos to them for THAT!). Five stars to the staff, five stars to the folks who frequent this place, but Issaquah is going to have to do better. Starting with a much better and larger weight room would be a good start. Grooming adult programs would also be a worthwhile endeavor. Plenty of kids sports leagues, but nary a one for adults. They'll need to do better and I have no...

The community center is a great place to stay fit, take classes, and meet other community members. The reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is that we bought a yearly membership 2 years ago, and then a few months later they announced that it would be closed for several months while they re-did the flooring. This was never mentioned to us when we signed up, and they never offered any sort of extension or refund for the lost access time. That was disappointing, and to be honest we lost momentum and just stopped going when we learned that. But it's a clean, well- maintained facility with good instructors and equipment, and I especially recommend it to anyone with kids, as they have lots of activities for the...

The Issaquah Community Center is an incredible resource for the community. The facility itself is always clean, well-maintained, and welcoming. The staff is professional, friendly, and always ready to help.

They offer such a wide variety of programs—everything from arts to sports—making it a great place for people of all ages and interests. One of my favorite things is their Concerts on the Green during the summer. It’s such a fun and vibrant event that really brings the community together.

If you’re looking for a place to get involved, try something new, or just enjoy what Issaquah has to offer, the Community Center is definitely worth...
