Antique Importers — Local services in Issaquah

In looking for home furnishings at major branded stores, I literally got foot-stomping upset at the poor quality and lack of choices in wood furnishings. But then I stepped into Antique Importers! Though I am not an antiques hobbyist or even really a fan, I feel like I suddenly became one when I walked into the shop as it didn't smell musty or gross like someone's dirty garage, and there wasn't that greasy, dusty odor like in the strip mall antique boutiques. What a relief!

The proprietor didn't try to hound us or regale us with stories to entice us to buy something, but stayed quietly nearby and answered questions or made brief comments as appropriate. Very welcoming and helpful!

We chose one accent table and one other item, the total for both pieces about $600 less than buying one new item at a fancy big box furniture store!

We were able to take home one piece and return next day for the other. Now both are at home and they not only look great, but are functional, and will obviously last and last.

My partner and I recently stumbled upon this store and it quickly became one of our favorite spots! We have been searching through every consignment and used furniture store in Seattle to furnish our new apartment, and Antique Importers has a wide selection of beautiful pieces for very reasonable prices. We found a gorgeous teak dining table that fits our space perfectly! While the table was the main highlight, Chris was a close second. He was incredibly knowledgeable about what to look for in different furniture items, and was so kind to even deliver the table to us after learning that we lived on his route home! Wow, nice find in Issaquah. Very nice owner who greeted us and helped with our questions. We found a lot of nice treasures immediately to purchase. The store is very clean and well organized. I have a problem with allergies and did not once sneeze. It's not too busy to the eye which is great. I love the quality of the furniture. Mostly home furnishings. Will have to return when I have more time to shop. The prices were so much better than in downtown Snohomish...
