Cultivate Hair Salon — Attraction in Jacksonville

I think it's about time I write a review. Some people say I go above and beyond and sometimes out of the way to find services I need but hey it's the truth. Finding a hair salon that's right for your needs can be hard especially if you're new to an area. I researched and picked 6 salons to do a free consultation for what I wanted. During the consultations, I would observed the environment, interactions with the present clients and products displayed available to used or purchase. -----Anyways Cultivate Hair Salon was among the 6 and I immediately was drawn to Jaime's fun personality. She explained what options she could do to overcome my self made disaster 😂. She also explained why she chose the options given. Her techniques were not harsh as the other salons had suggested. By the way Cultivate Hair Salon uses Aveda products which have always been cruelty free and, starting in 2021, are 100% vegan.

Opening a salon in the middle of a pandemic can be nerve-racking I'm sure, but the way the team have handled themselves is impeccable! The girls are always fun and seems like family and each client is treated the same way!

The salon is exceptionally clean and has cute 😍 boutique style interior. You can tell each decors shows Jaime's fun, spontaneous character.

Now that Jaime has done such an unbelievable exceptional job on my hair I have to maintain it and the good lord knows I suck at maintenance. Fast forward two month ( yes my hair grows fast,I'm sure they didn't believe me 🤣) I did touch up with Lennon. Let me tell you she did an AMAZING job 👏 🙌 ❤️ ❤️. I still have fabulous hair thanks to the Cultivate team! I can safely say I've found my salon and it's the best...

Jamie Long, salon owner and Aveda expert, has reinvented the salon experience from one that can be somewhat stressful and daunting to one that is indulgent and nurturing not only for your hair. She has created an oasis of the mind and spirit as well. From the moment you walk in, aside from taking in the beauty of the salon itself which reminds one of a tropical resort with its lush beautiful plants and soothing atmosphere, you are warmly greeted as if all were waiting just for you to arrive. I've been seeing Melissa for ages, through many changes in life, and even more changes with my hair. Her expertise is unmatched, hands down. She's rocked fashion colors and wild styles, to more conservative cuts and a happy medium of them all. There is ALWAYS an "above and beyond" element to the care you get not only from Melissa, but from the salon staff as a whole.

Today's appointment was unique, as I am having surgery soon, and they went further than "above and beyond" today with extra attention during the scalp and neck massages, extra washings of my hair to get me ready, hand massages, and even some slight alterations to my usual cut to make it easier for me post-op. Add to that, Melissa put me in contact with a massage therapist who would come to my place before the surgery.

If there were more than five stars, they would have earned every single one during today's visit alone... nevermind the years of impeccable service, kindness and laughter that...
