Fuji Sushi San Marco used to be my favorite sushi place until they were removed from both doordash and grubhub. I used to order at least once a week. I've ordered a few times from the fuji sushi website through q-menu or whatever they're using but every other order has been wrong or missing something and it's VERY difficult to get help from customer service to get the right food or even get refunded in full. It takes up a lot of time waiting on hold and then they offer partial refunds and its just a waste of my time and i cant even enjoy my food because i have to spend my time dealing with that and going back and forth with them to get my money back for the item i didnt get. Today I was missing an entire veggie tempura appetizer and i had ordered a dynamite roll which should be salmon, krab, asparagus, deep fried, with hot sauce and eel sauce on top but what I got instead was a roll with shrimp tempura and cucumber inside with Krab, eel sauce, and what I think was just shrimp sauce on top. This is not even the first time I have gotten that exact roll in place of my dynamite roll! Something feels intentional about that. And none of the food was very good at all this time. It tasted weird and was not what I'm used to getting. Today I decided it's not worth my time to fight about it and unfortunately i will need to find a new sushi place that I like because this is my last time ordering here. I'm just tired of the disappointment and lack of accountability or customer service since they've been removed from the delivery apps and I'm tired of wasting my money on food I didn't get or on food I didn't want and dont even like.
Edit: it's been 5 months and I decided to take a big risk and try ordering again. I was so excited to get my order and then....my dynamite roll had tuna in it instead of salmon and it was absolutely awful. I absolutely HATE the texture and flavor of cooked ahi tuna and I am very unhappy. It was DISGUSTING. No one called me to ask if the substitution was ok or anything. The krab rangoon was dry and hard. The california roll fell apart when i picked it up to eat it. The spicy tuna roll with crunch on top didnt even have the crunch on top although it cost me a whole dollar more than a regular spicy tuna roll. It was once again an absolutely awful experience and I should have never even tried to give them another chance. Hopefully someday they will once again start to hold themselves to the higher standards that they used to in the past but as of the present time the quality of food I received today is still extremely poor and once again I got something incorrect that I didn't like or want and wasted my money. This is unacceptable. Lesson learned. I will not be giving this place a chance to send me a plate full of 100% HOT...
Read moreThis was the worst experience I’ve ever had at a restaurant as a FIRST TIME CUSTOMER at this particular location other location which I visited the server come and greet us as well ask if we were first timer here and most Fuji sushi location aren’t all you can eat, which they explain before we sat down anyways, from the moment we walked in we weren’t greeted, after we were sat no one explained how the menu worked to us and instead we had to figure it out on our own by going online and searching the reviews. We saw a picture of a small piece of paper marked off with numbers and that’s how we figured out how to . Once we put our order down on a small piece of paper, with little boxes for you to write the numbers of the items off the menu, a staff member finally came up to take the paper and finally explain the way the menu works to us. I’m guessing since they have an all you can eat sushi special deal all day they don’t want you to share the sushi, which is what we were trying to do. Every time my fiancé and I go out for sushi we order a couple of rolls that we both like to share. Each sushi usually comes with 8 to 12 pieces which is perfect for us to share and take a few pieces home. Which is why when we noticed the sushi on their menu only comes in 4 pieces we were really confused. Once the sushi came out everything was fine not great or amazing but our server never came to check on us again until we asked for our check. I wanted to do another round of sushi so I took another piece of paper, wrote down what I wanted and left it on the same spot of the table as last time and no one came to pick it up. While we were eating a family of 3 came in and got completely different treatment than we did. They had the same server as us and she was much nicer to them, smiling at them, letting them move to another table and talking to them way more. At that point we could only assume that they were regulars which after my experience today I could never understand how this place has regular customers returning. My biggest problem with this place is that they don’t have a menu option for people who don’t want to do all you can eat sushi. A regular menu with bigger portions than 4 pieces of sushi and each roll is priced individually. Don’t get me wrong, all you can eat sushi for $22 is not bad at all but there really needs to be a separate menu option for people who don’t want to do all you can eat and the menu needs to be explained much better.
Cucumber salad was the only thing I will never order again it was the most plainest I’ve ever seen…..

Read moreI went to Fuji Sushi San Marco location last night and the food was great as usual. Our server's name was Alin. She completely ignored our table half the time and gave us horrible service. Initially, it took some time for her to come to our table. She did not greet us at all however, asked for our drink order which she tried to memorize and kept getting it wrong. My friend is Japanese so she only gave her, and her son sets of chopsticks which left my son and I with nothing. In the meantime while we waited for your drinks, my friend and I tried to get Alin's attention, one so that we could get chopsticks and two so she could pick up our order slips. She walked passed us with her hands behind her back. We practically had to yell to get her attention. Finally, she turned around. Not once did she ask if we needed anything during our dining. I noticed Alin spent the majority her time being attentive and the perfect server to the white family seated to the right of our table. She even asked if she could refill their beverages. Needless to say, I was not surprised by Alin's behavior, but my friend was. I didn't want to leave her a tip however, the whole serving staff would suffer because of her behavior. I also work in the service industry and I give my best to each of my clients. For future reference, Fuji sushi San Marco should train their staff especially Alin, to give their best to all the customers by treating people with...
