Level and Tone Salon — Attraction in Jacksonville

Megan was amazing, as was my overall salon experience at Level and Tone. I just moved here from the Bay Area and finding a new salon and stylist are not for the faint of heart, especially when you have a history of platinum blonde for over 20 years and are in recent need of some hair rehab. At the consultation Megan not only listened and tried to understand my hair history, but then gave her expert opinion based on what she was hearing and seeing. She then told me a plan for my first visit and gave me a price breakdown, which was so nice. At the appointment I was able to order off a sweet little cocktail menu (there’s a coffee one too with all kinds of coffee/espresso drinks) and got the yummiest jalapeño margarita! Like seriously it was one of the best margs I’ve had in a while! Then there was a relaxation time where she put some sort of aromatherapy oil on her hands and did a little neck/head/shoulder massage. During the shampoo there was a hot steamy towel, another head massage and hand massage. I almost floated back to her station from the shampoo bowl…which by the way was one of the super comfortable type where you rest your head on a little head board. I have never, ever had a truly comfortable neck experience in a classic shampoo bowl. Megan trimmed my hair, did a root melt and a Kerastase deep conditioning treatment that was just what my hair needed for my blonde rehab experience 😁 The price was exactly what she quoted me and I paid with Apple Pay.

Megan was super sweet, explained everything, asked if I had any questions and just seemed really knowledgeable and confident overall. My hair was already feeling healthier when I walked out and I’m excited to collaborate with her in the future!

Update 🤩since my last review. My stylist/ hair 😇 -Megan knocked out of the park with what she was able to accomplish! Exceeded my expectations above and beyond what I even thought was possible. As I mentioned before I have very curly hair that I’ve been dying black for over a decade. I went to Level & Tone salon and I had a wonderful consultation with Megan. She came up with a game plan that made me feel super hopeful and confident that she could help me accomplish my goal to lighten my hair while trying to keep it healthy. We spent about 6-7 hrs in the 1st session and the result is so beautiful 😍! She was able get my hair to a very pretty brown color with caramel highlights (she’s a superstar🤩) and my hair is still healthy and shiny. She gave me a beautiful blow out. I feel so blessed that she has the talent and patience to work with a client like myself that has a difficult color correction/ color remover request. I’m going back in another 6 weeks and we will add some blonde highlights and I can’t wait. I’ve been to a few different salons and none of them have been able to help me.
