South Ortega Market Place — Attraction in Jacksonville

I was at the newly remodeled Target store and the CVS PHARMACY INSIDE. The CVS pharmacist, Tiffany, is personable, knowledgeable, patient, explained the many new and old prescriptions that I had filled, and just a wonderful asset to her team.

The Target store staff is outstanding. They were completely low on water and I usually don't but this time I asked if they had my water in the back. The next thing I see are the employees rolling out pallets of different size bottles and 2.5 gallon spigot jugs of water completely restocking the shelves. It saved me a lot of grief as my transportation is limited and with a hurricane 🌀 headed our way, was most welcome.

Went to DMV at 6331 Roosevelt Blvd for a title and tags on our vehicle. 5 hour wait. At 12 noon and they close at 4:30pm. We did get seen by 4:20pm. and there was still people waiting. The city of Jacksonville is a sorry excuse of government personnel that ALL the DMV's are like that and you can't make an appointment or stay inside. You have to wait elsewhere until your time. Mayor Curry needs to do something about the way it's run. Plus, $1.00 per hour to park downtown in the street and $2.00 to use your debit card on all city transactions. Since when does the bank charge $2.00 for people to use their debit card that the city has to make you pay that. We had to go to 2 DMV's to get both items taken care...

Went to the target at this location hadn't been their in months I'm a Walmart girl 😍because Walmart is cheaper & have good selections on things I need. But use to come their to shop for music CDs especially gospel ones . But they are very limited now on them didn't find anything I wanted times are changing had plenty of what my daughter says are vinyl albums . We use to call them 33 record albums. I had several but husband took them when we divorced. I kept the 45 records. They sure are high prices on them now lowest one started at $29. Well so much for us seniors & what we would call oldies things. But might look into purchasing me a turntable to...
