New China Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Jacksonville

My husband purchased shrimp egg foo young from here today I found out that my egg is as cooked too long, I called them to tell them I wasn’t satisfied she told me it’s not burned that’s the way they cook it , and if I want it cooked again I would have to pay for it and hung up in my face smh bad customer service and one who can’t take criticism, or except error .... in the beginning when I first learned about this place it was good to the point I brag on them to my coworkers who would come from another side of town for their food now they’re getting sorry,, i was as disappointed before and figured I had been eating from there too frequently. I told my husband I asked him to go to our other spot at Golden Egg roll on Atlantic Blvd from the beginning when he said he wanted Chinese. I have a love one, that flavors this restaurant. I have had the enjoyment of eating from here three times. I love fried dumplings. However not for this restaurant. Their fried dumplings where thick and doughy, so I will not be ordering them again from this restaurant. The first time I ate from here the fortune cookies where stale. However the last time I am glad to say, they where fresh as expected. I am also happy to report the entrees have been good! In the last month we have eaten takeout three times, from this restaurant. The food here is quite good but I do have a major complaint. You cannot count on them to be open for the stated hours, they 'very' regularly close early hours early never any signage posted. Once they closed for a week, I stopped by three times on my way back from work no idea why they weren't open again nothing posted. Today was the last time I will be visiting, I got out of my car walked up to the door and I was about 10 feet from it, when the owner stepped through closed and locked the door behind her and without so much as looking at me walked away.
