Regretably i did not have a good experience. I was excited to visit the store since it was near where I live and love both vintage and well prices pieces so wanted to give them a try. They have a good selection, the pricing was on point and seems reasonably. The negative experience comes to how I was treated while in the store. To out it bluntly i was treated like a potential shop lifter. Followed around the store, when I went into the dressing room was told that incould try on items from the clearanced section, had the amount of items i was taking in with me counted three times ( once when i asked how tonuse the dressing room, once before going into the dressing room and then again after i went into the dressing room i had just taken off the shirt i came in with to try on one of the shirts i picked up, explained this to the person who banged aggressivly on the door...did not matter, so I had to put my shirt back on and then show them again what i had brought into the dressing room) as i left the same person rudely asked me for and aggressive took away the items i expressed i did not want.( which ive NEVER experienced that before at any retailer even when they were randomly over watching me, being racist etc). And then the cashier talk to me in a condesending tone. I was mentally exausted after that...and it brought down my day. I had just come from a wonderful experience at the market for makers and had purchased a few new pieces there and wanted to see if i could find some items to compliment those items at this store. I sent a response to the survey sent to me because i wanted to speak to someone regarding the experience but it has been a while with no response, so at this time I will assume they do not care. I have worked retail and i know what itbis like tobhave individuals come into the store and steal from your location or case the store etc...so I understand it can be rough, but to be so terrible to someone without rhyme or reason ( I play back the day sometimes to figure out what in the world i did to generate that level of response from the entire store because I never want to experience that again anywhere)I have not and will not shop there again. I hope they do not still provide this level of customer...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI had a different experience this time. I brought a basket of clothes, it was a little busy I was told I could either wait in the store for my turn or I could come back by the end of day. I decided to stay and wait just because I didnāt want to come back I live across town. They do this with everyone.
The girls who were on the intake side of selling clothes were very fast and efficient. After I arrived and it had got very busy. They were friendly and answering questions and answering the phone while being kind I was very impressed. I was in and out and under an hour given how busy it was.
Couple of negatives are, since you have to wait there is no room to do so, you have to shop or stand around. If you leave you loose your place in line, even you to Whole Foods. I feel if you stay within the shopping complex and are back in five minutes within the text, you should be good. It was uncomfortable standing around. The other thing is there should be an option to see was the items are purchased at. There were a couple of things I would have taken back if I knew how much it was being sold for. This happened last time. I know it was busy but it would be nice to have just a touch more customer service.
As for the store (I did browse a bit), all the clothes are in great shape. They have both men and womenās clothing. It was well organized and clean. It was busy so it was a little hard to shop. I will say itās a young targeted store for womenās clothing not Platoās but, if you are looking and selling mature brands (think Chicoās, JJill) this is not the store for you. I did not see a lot of larger sizes in blouses, dresses, or the Free...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI would first like to say that this establishment was clean, organized and the staff was polite which would be the only positive feedback I would have. I went to this store because it was recommended by the associate at Platoās closet here in Orange park that uptown would be able to take my items because they were to high end for Platoās. I was given these high end jeans from my best friend in the military of 15 years. The jeans were given to me for my boys because they no longer fit my friend. My boys took 2 pairs out of the pile and I decided to take them to be consigned. I went through the whole process of signing in and waiting an hour to have my items looked at. At the end of what ever process they go through to decide what they would keep I was told that they were not taking any of my items and the jeans canāt be taken because they can not authenticate them and that I would need proof that the items were real. Iām not sure who keeps receipts from clothes purchases but I suggest you do especially if you are a WOC and intend to take your clothes or bags here. I was there when the items were purchase from the actual high end store so I know with my own eyes that they are in fact real. Now to tell me that the items canāt be authenticated when these items are only manufactured in Italy with serial numbers in the inside of the items just tells me that the effort was not put in to authenticate them and that a bit of profiling was happening. I sure do hope all the clothing and items are authenticated in the store and not just accepted based on color or status. I do not appreciate being profiled and treated like I shouldnāt have these items. I have served in the Army for 10yrs proudly and Managed a Fossil Retail store for 5. I am disappointed that the effort was not taken and that my integrity...
