Pearl City Hops — Restaurant in Jamestown

My wife and I came here for dinner after dropping daughter off at SUNY Fredonia.

It's in the lobby of the Doubletree by Hilton in Jamsstown NY. Bathrooms in the lobby are gorgeous by the way and smelled lovely and clean.

Beautiful table setup and bar but due to Covid situation seems they had a limited menu which is understandable.

I had the beef on weck which I enjoyed (Pic attached) but not the best I've had.

I also had several of the draft IPA'S from Buffalio they had on tap but do not recall the name and my wife had a couple of Mojitos (Pics attached). They were excellent and poured nicely in Pearl city hops Pints which I appreciate.

The service was outstanding and would definitely return. Being from NYC the bill was incredibly reasonable to what we are accustomed to.

If there was one thing I would appreciate is to have some type of music as it was very quiet. This type of decor and vibe can benefit from some smooth jazz type or lounge music to take it to...

We had our 2nd dinner party at Pearl City Hops and it was even better than the 1st. We have a large family which makes it difficult to meet up for dinner. We celebrated 2 70th birthdays this fall and Louise and her crew made it possible to honor both birthdays, first in September than again in October. Meal planning was easy even with such a large group and we didnt have to just limit to a buffet type dinner. Diners were able to pre order from good selection of dishes. Food was served hot and in a timely fashion. Our server Tanyelle was on top of all our needs. After meal we were able to continue celebration in the Bar. I think my Dad has found a new favorite bartender! We look forward to many more dinners in the months to come! And totally recommend Louise and company if you need to host a gathering in these times of Covid. We love the space but hopefully covid will be over and business will be able to return to full capacity soon! We cant wait to...

First let me say that Rose, the bartender/server was outstanding. She greeted us immediately and brought out menus, told us what her favorites were, and mixed a great cocktail. Unfortunately for Rose the kitchen was not quite at her level.

We ordered the salmon with horseradish sauce and the beer can chicken but they were out of the salmon so I got the Shepard's Pie and my dining companion ordered the beer can chicken. Both were excellent and we had a side of green beans. There was an issue with the green beans but Rose had them made up again and they were excellent. Food was very good..beer can chicken was moist and delicious and Shepard’s Pie was excellent.

She offered us to free desserts for all of the challenges that we had which we gratefully accepted. The desserts were very good. White and dark chocolate cake and pecan cheesecake.

Rose's handling of all the little bobbles made up for any issue. She's great! I will...
