Iāve been going to this dispensary for the last few years. They have always said they prioritize medical clients but they do not. Tonight I went to the dispensary and there was a long line. It was the first day in two years of visiting weekly that Iāve seen them try to implement prioritizing medical cards. The line was long and the called medical card clients sometimes first and sometimes not. They do not have a separate line or chairs for medical clients to wait in in a discreet manner. Tonight I voiced my concerns after waiting in line for 20 minutes because I have multiple medical conditions that cause changes to my heart rate, blood pressure and causes fainting. They made statements that they were trying to enforce prioritizing medical patients and I informed them I had been coming for two years and it has never been enforced until recently and the last few times has been very inconsistent. I voiced my concerns that medical clients have to get out of line to sit in one of two available chairs or they have to let others know of their plight if they need to sit. Itās not discreet or effective or helpful for actual medical clients. Instead of being solution focused they kicked me out and refused to fill the pick up order that I placed earlier in the day and told me to leave when I said I would leave a poor review . I wonāt be going back. This is a recreational dispensary. Donāt go there if you have a medical card. Itās not a safe environment for medical patients and itās certainly not trauma informed. Previously it was easier to go in drive through as a medical client but unless you have cash up front you canāt use the drive through. Again not ideal for medical clients. They donāt care about people there. They literally kicked me out for vocalizing my concerns for medical clients. They need to stop serving medical clients and advertise as recreational only. My experience this evening literally made me cry and feel embarrassed as an adult woman. They refused to serve me and I found myself at the other local dispensary who was very happy to help me. Not only dealing with a reoccurrence of heightened PTSD symptoms, but my girlfriends been diagnosed B-cell Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma and I'm honestly just terrified while she's dealing with it like an absolute warrior. The PEOPLE working here overall, from the beautiful lady up front who welcomes me with a smile š, to the gentleman in the back who remembers our story and does his best to help me find some relief without an extreme expense. The compassion and care I've felt from all of their workers, the friendliness, welcoming, understanding on top of helping me find the right product for me is something I can NOT find the words to express my gratitude for. I was sober for more than a couple years, but I broke, and ended up needing something more to help me through asides from the support I have from many different amazing groups, friends, family etc. I'd chosen sobriety so I could feel to heal. Now I'm balancing between medications from the VA, support groups, some additional help from here, prayer, meditation, and trying to give myself some grace, and some leeway so I can can handle some things I don't quite know how to handle. I'm in pain, scared, and not being judged has helped me be there for my loved one without having to feel guilty about any of it. Ā Ā Ā Read moreI visited the store for the first time on 4/19/21, to take advantage of buy an ounce get an eight for a dollar deal, however when it was time to pay the employee stated they needed the manager override for me to get the deal but he had stepped out to make or answer a phone call. They either attempted to or did let the manager know they needed an override however he did not come to the register to provide the override and instead I had to wait at least 10 minutes to make my purchase. Another customer also was forced to wait for the manager after the employees pleaded for his assistance. When he finally did come to the register and provide the code the manager didnāt acknowledge the wait or even my existence really, and nothing was offered to make up for my wait even though I wasnāt looking for anything for free but itās the principal. Theyāre product is ok but I will not be returning due to this terrible experience. I would like to add that the staff were great just not the manager from what I experienced.
Edit: I was later contacted by a staff member and given a free 1 gram preroll to make up for my bad experience. Offering anything at all to make up for it meant a lot to me and so I raised my review score and the product was good. This mostly made up for what happened so I will be returning...
