Washington Park Ice Arena — Attraction in Jefferson City

We traveled there for a couple of away games and the facility was very nice. Would be 5 stars if the WiFi was better - we could not broadcast our game to distant fans because of the slow WiFi and weak cell signal - the facility can't really control the cell signal, but they can improve the WiFi speed; and if the ice froze solid faster after being conditioned (nit cool to start the 3rd period with water all over the ice). Both are items the facility can fix. But, again, a very VERY nice facility. I look forward to...

This ice rink is OK. The facility itself is good, though last time I used the bathroom here it smelled. Also, it’s a gamble if they actually resurfaced the ice, I’ve been here a few times where for public sessions it was already scratched up, and even once for a freestyle session, which considering the price for those sessions, is kind of a rip off. Unfortunately this is the only rink near COMO for now, but a new one is opening before next winter in Columbia, I’ll probably go there instead...

It’s a COOL place to go. We don’t go often since it’s out of town and expensive (for us) and there are limited hours… but every time we do go, we all have a good time. I don’t think we’d want to stay much more than the 90 min that was offered this particular session, but it would be nice for at least half hour longer.

I recommend dressing in layers, though I didn’t need long sleeves, gloves, hat. Some people in our party were very chilly and did keep on hoodie and gloves and...
