ArtSpace Chicago Art Gallery & Art School — Attraction in Jefferson Township

A New Year’s resolution led me to ArtSpace. I wanted to try to paint for the first time, but wasn’t sure if I’d enjoy it, or if I wanted to commit to month long classes & drop hundreds of dollars right away, so, naturally, ArtSpace made a lot of sense to try, and I’m so glad I did! For the last couple of months, I’ve been taking private art lessons with Audrey, and feel so lucky to have found this space.

Finding super affordable (private!) lessons is one thing, but it’s a whole other when you find a teacher you look forward to seeing every week. Audrey’s kind and thoughtful spirit has helped me learn new skills and develop my confidence in painting. Through our 1:1’s, I’ve been able to explore my interests through different mediums, and work on paintings with Audrey’s unwavering guidance and reassurance. Audrey’s someone who makes sure you’re aware of your potential and encourages you to get there. I should also mention she’s outright very, very cool. Audrey has many life stories to share, and truly makes you feel warm and welcomed when you’re in her class (whether it’s a group or solo experience!).

Recently, our team had the pleasure of attending an art class at ArtSpace in Chicago. The private class setting offered a personalized touch, making the experience even more memorable. Our instructor, Nicky, was incredibly skilled and attentive, offering guidance on technique that elevated our creations. She went above and beyond to ensure our artworks were safely packed for the journey home, given that we didn't have the full 24 hours for them to dry at the venue. My son has been in ArtSpace art class for over a year now, and he loves it so much. He would not miss any class at all. Every week has different ideas and themes. You will never know that it's the work of a 10 year old. It looks like a professionally done artwork. The teachers are very professional, and they always make sure the kids are enjoying what they do while assisting each child. Affordable in the pocket.
