Busy Beaver Buttons & Merch — Attraction in Jefferson Township

30/4/2015 - EDIT: After my initial review (below) BBBCo contacted my partner and worked to resolve the problem. We were asked to identify all unacceptable items. We took photos and sent them off to BBBCo who agreed without question to replace the damaged item and ship them to us at no cost. We received our replacement magnets in a reasonable time and all is good. Also, Abbey took the extra time to help my partner work out some formatting issues (Thanks Abby!).

The replacement items were packaged much better this time: tapped tightly in plastic wrapping surrounded by padding. However, each magnet was still stacked, one on top of the other. We have had other providers separate each magnet with tissue paper. That said there were no marks on the replacement magnets.

Overall customer service gets 6 stars. I kind of feel bad having given a 2 star rating first off but we are just a 2 person small business start-up where every dollar counts and I guess I was stinging from the disappointment.

So, thank you Busy Beaver Button Co and Abbey for correcting the problem in a positive, proactive and quick manner.

My partner ordered 300 custom fridge magnets. They were packaged loosely in ziplock bags. No bubble wrap, no protection between the image surface. Lots of scuffs and marks on the product. These were being shipped to Tasmania Australia, about as long a trip as you can get. I can't figure why this kind of packaging would make sense to any one. Excellent customer service, easy to navigate their website and create awesome custom buttons. Their focus on sustainability, sourcing recycled paper and other materials locally and making everything in house here in Chicago is an amazing business model that we need more of!
