Response: further** I'm stunned. That's what you're going to go with? That my wife and I were not customers. You're going to tell me that my wife and I both don't know where we got our wedding rings tattooed? That's wild. No wonder every shop in the Chicagoland area thinks your shop is a clown show.
You want me to stop by. Are you going to fix the shoddy work or refund us? Rather than try to make things right, you're going to comment on my other reviews? Based on your other responses to the many unsatisfied customers, that seems par for the course. Just goes to show how childish and unprofessional your business is. Now it's up here for all to see.
I'll happily stop by. Who do I speak with when I get there?
Somehow, they got my review deleted.
This place is very strange, I've been around tattoo shops most of my life and I'm tatted up like a frieght train, and this place is hands down probably the worst shop I've ever been in.
Came here begrudgingly, mainly because they were open late, and my wife didn't want to wait for my guy to do them.
We had a simple request, getting our wedding bands tattooed. It cost us 80 bucks a piece for some very bad work, I tried to negotiate a better price because 80 bucks for some lines on someone's finger is ridiculous. I could've done them myself, and it probably would've turned out better, seriously.
The place is literally an old corner bar that appears to be in the middle of being partially converted to a tattoo piercing shop, maybe its intentionally like that, but I'm not sure. The people working there are rude and act as if they're better than you. Looking at the reviews, they're easily triggered on top of it all.
We waited for like 3 hours for some guy who didn't speak to either one of us the entire time while he laid down some garbage lines complete with blowouts. He had no problem talking about how he was going to go drunk after they close with his coworkers, though, just very rude people with little social skills.
I wish I had looked at the photos posted here on Google because some of the work coming out of this place is horrible. If you're looking to get tattooed, there's far better places in the Chicagoland area than this place with much...
Read moreif i could give this place less than one star, i would. i have never met more unfriendly, stand-offish, employees. i frequent at a different piercing place called âidentity,â also in the city. i didnât think much of the horrible bedside quality here until i remembered my experience at identity and how patient, kind, and warm they were. my friend went to get her septum, and i went with her, already having a septum piercing for nine months. from the moment we went in it was awkward and we felt out of place. not how you want to feel when youâre getting a needle through your nose. my friend wanted a bigger piercing but the one they showed her was missing a ball, she landed on the smaller one and became comfortable with it. the piercer then found a ball for the bigger one and when my friend asked- would it look better, the piercer very harshly responded âaesthetics donât matter, this will heal better,â leaving no room for debate and not calming for my obviously nervous and hesitant friend. The whole point of a piercing is the aesthetic, i shouldnât have to explain this. I understand healing, but my septum healed just fine with an incredibly small piercing and i have never heard this before, smaller also seems better for healing, less room to snag and move on things. She then pierced my friend, who, upon sight of the much too big piercing, freaked out. No compliments from the piercer, no reassuring, silence. Letting her client freak out. Hereâs the kicker. we went back to purchase the smaller one to replace when her piercing healed, and they almost didnât sell it to her because (and quoting the piercer) âi donât want to sell it to her, sheâll just put it in.â the two employees gave disheartening looks to each other, insulting my friend in front of her face. they eventually sold it, and my friend went home having the worst piercing experience of her life. the only reason this place would get more than zero stars is their pricing, but speaking for my friend, she wouldâve paid more for a better experience. donât go here. identity, chicago ink tattoo and body piercing, iris, tattoo factory, all options in the city, all exponentially better....
Read moreI'm so deeply in awe and grateful đ to all the staff who helped me this early in the morning đ At around 10:30 I had a minor accident while cleaning my face and my captive bead popped right off my tiny rose gold nose hoop. I searched everywhere but most likely it went down my sink drain. I called three different tattoo and piercing studios. The closest one to me didn't have a piercer on site. I called another one I always went to in the past and she said they aren't allowed to place nose jewelry on their clients due to the pandemic. She said I could come in tomorrow, buy a new hoop and leave; but no piercer would agree to helping me with it. I calked a third place and was told the exact same thing---that I can buy whatever I want but no one will assist me. This evening I called this place and Alex the professional tattoo artist was very reassuring and said not only are they open till 2 AM but I can buy any of their nose jewelry and a piercer will fit it in for me on the premises! When I arrived at 1 AM everyone here was very polite and very welcoming. It's incredibly clean here too so I'll come back for new jewelry and a new piercing in the near future. Mandy was my piercest and she lead me to the jewelry case and helped me find a tiny L shaped solid gold stud while I wait a couple weeks for my special order. Mandy even cut an L shaped stud I had for many years that was way too large for my nose đ She didn't have to do this; but she was eager to help me and now I can use a stud that was unusable to me before. I highly recommend this wonderful piercing/tattoo studio for all your late night, đ đ last minute emergencies because everyone here is so peaceful and helpful. I loved my experience â„ this evening and I urge all locals to come here because of the wonderful professional and skilled services...
