Dollar Land — Attraction in Jefferson Township

Okay so the guy yesterday who was checking me out completely ruined my day. He was on his phone and wasn’t paying no attention and rushing me out. I had told him I had my own bag for stuff, I told him I wanted something behind the register two times and he still didn’t grab it and was just trying to charge me. I had little things and he put em in a huge bag piercings he charged me for and are not even in the bag. I went back already 30 min away to get the stuff he charged me for and for the fm thing behind the register. He didn’t wanna give me the piercings I bought and we’re still wrapped on the counter they way I bagged em bcuz they deff didn’t even help with that. It was so dumb that he wasn’t paying attention not doing his job right. Also note that the transactions taxed me two times. Earlier before I checking out I heard him asking to leave and the lady told him no until 5pm like bruh doesn’t wanna work there does bad job so bad review I love the stuff here but that was just mad annoying the only reason why I couldn’t even watch him in the beginning cuz some costumer kept trying to talk to me distracting me from watching him bagging idk if there trying to scam little ways like this but watch out people also I was the only one in line at the time no need to rush me he just wanted to be on his phone kept texting I drove out here an hour away for...

Beautifully setup store, great variety of items, amazingly priced... yet there is an unfortunate caveat...

I brought my cousin from out of town with his son, he completed his order of over $100.

When it came to my order all was coming well until she came across a white cubs shirt that was sticker tagged with $2.99. The lady at the register with blond curly hair, proceeded by removing the sticker and pasted it to the register and said this shirt is $4.99. I had to comfort her on this sly move that quickly grasped my attention.

I asked her why she peeled the sticker off, she insisted that the price was incorrect. I tried to explain that she needs to honor the price that was on the rest of the shirts and on the shirt I'm purchasing.

She insisted she can't loose money and honor that price. I asked her if $2 is worth loosing an entire purchase. She said she can't give it for the price listed, that it's not her fault that it was incorrectly priced. I had to regretfully tell her to cancel my entire transaction.

There is nothing worse than deceitful retailers who are greedy and unethical. Dollarland not only lost a transaction, but a customer and many more I would have recommended to shop this store. I hope this employee, manager, representative of this company learns an important lesson from...

Watch em bag ur stuff make sure they put everything in ur bag and make sure the pricing is right a lot of stuff have mixed prices for the same thing. Example a basket with the several same lipsticks: one will be $1.99 while another one will be $2.99. Watch em bag and hear em say the price. They will remove stickers and up charge. They will charge u for something and not put it in bag. They will not refund or give u ur bought items if u go back. They will not offer anything just apologize.

Yesterday I got scammed by them. They charged me for nose piercings that are not in my bag I made three little bags of 4 nose piercings that I hand picked and bagged myself. Only two of those bags were inside my bag when I got in the car I noticed while we were 30 min away. I had told him I had my own bag too but he still bagged all my small things in a huge huge bag for no reason. Went back saw my exact bagged piercings on the counter near the register asked for it and explained and they wanted to charge me for it.
