Independence Park — Attraction in Jefferson Township

The park is amazing however my semi low rating had to deal with what occured in the park house. After a few hours of playing with my boyfriend and the kiddo the enviable happened. We all had to use the bathroom. I'm not sure if we... or rather I was going against any rules here by using the bathroom in the park house. My boyfriend and the kiddo went to the bathroom and I respectively went to the women's restroom. Everything was fine until I left and I was glared at by an employee. I felt extremely uncomfortable and tried to locate my boyfriend. The employee followed me out of the door as if I comitted some heinous act. As soon as I left I hugged the kiddo and I thought that would ease the tension with the employee. It didn't. My boyfriend was pretty upset. Luckily I live super close so I guess next time I'll avoid the house and signing up the kiddo for anything that might go on in there...

Lifeguards are cold, rude and look miserable. I wish they were aware that the public doesn't make the pool schedule the park does. It isn't the publics fault that the building closes at 8:00pm. They are so rude to people who come in during that last swimming slot as though we are personally keeping them from going home early. You can't leave work early whether someone is swimming or not so loose the attitude.

Dear staff, It is okay to smile at someone who smiles at you. Or respond to someone when they say hello. It's okay to make eye contact. People trying to utilize the public pool are not trying to personally hurt you. It you are upset the building closes at 8pm talk with your superiors and tell them you want your hours cut and you want to have the pool close earlier.
